Hiromi had stayed home for the next few days. She wanted a nice break from school but instead she just felt bad about everything. She spent a lot of time drawing and she cleaned a lot to keep her mind off of everything. She hadn't sung since that day everything went wrong.
Everyone could tell she was depressed. Ranka didn't know what to do. She had reverted to her old ways. She was quiet and kept to herself. She didn't bother to say anything that wasn't necessary and she barely ever smiled.
She heard Haruhi at the door every once in a while talking to someone. She wasn't sure who it was and she didn't really care. She figured it might've been the post man but she knew it was probably Kyoya coming to apologize.
She wasn't sure who to believe. She felt as if everything fit now. She figured the reason he wasn't telling his dad about them was because he actually liked Hanna. It made since that he'd want to be with someone that would help his father then someone like Hiromi that was just a commoner.
Not only did all of this make her think different about Kyoya but it made her think different about herself. She thought of how bad of a person she must've been that he would do this to her. Of course she thought he was just as worse for doing it, she just thought she must've done something wrong too.
Maybe she was just to poor or not pretty enough. Or maybe he had to much to lose from being with her. Either way she felt like she wasn't worth much at all. She lost what she cared about and she hated that betrayal was the reason why.
She was back to where she started. The sad little six year old without a mom with her sisters hand to hold and protect, only now she was older and left with more sorrow then before. At least when she was little she didn't completely understand the concept of loss, but now it was something she knew to well.
She didn't know what else to do to make herself happy again. Just remembering how things used to be and how happy she was made her hurt. She thought it was all fake, even the beginning. She was so caught in her own sadness that she couldn't begin to imagine how good her life was.
Not to mention Kaoru.
Kissing her out of nowhere hurt. Knowing that he was with someone else hurt almost as much as Kyoya being with someone else. She felt as if she was attached to two ropes on either hand with Kaoru on one end and Kyoya on the other. The closer she was pulled to one made her more sad about the other. Right now she was just a little closer to Kaoru then to Kyoya. She felt like a puppet playing a stupid game that made her feel upset and used.
She laid in her bed looking up to the ceiling. She listened to music as she looked up. Tears fell every once in a while.
"Hiromi." Haruhi said as she looked at her sister. She felt bad too. She wanted to help but she had no idea what relationships were like. She wanted to help but she didn't know how to approach it. After a while she knew she would give up with the sweet talk. It just wasn't who she was.
Hiromi took off her headphones and sat up looking to her sister. "Yeah?" She asked looking to her. She still had bed head.
"Hikaru and Kaoru are outside. They want to take you somewhere again." Haruhi said sitting next to her.
"They are so nice to me. I don't deserve it." Hiromi sighed looking down.
"Hiro, this needs to stop." Haruhi said looking to her sister. Hiromi looked up with her eyebrows scrunched. "You can't keep being sad. You have to move on and do better things."
"Better things?" Hiromi asked looking to her sadly. "I loved him Haru." She answered.
"Exactly. Loved, but now you need to move on past it. You can do so many things if you just set your mind to it, to a happier place." Haruhi said looking to her.
