Hiromi whipped her tears and walked in to the dinning area. She looked to see everyone in fancy gowns. "Oh geez." She said as Haruhi spotted her from across the room.
The short haired twin went over to Hiromi and looked to her. She was wearing a simple long sleeved white dress. "You've been crying?" She asked concerned.
"Yeah but I'm okay." Hiromi shook her head. "Was I supposed to dress fancy?" She asked quickly changing the subject.
"Hikaru was supposed to tell you." Haruhi said not surprised at all.
"He didn't. I'll just go change now then. I'll be quick." Hiromi looked to her sister with a nod.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Haruhi asked looking to her twin. She knew something was up, but she also didn't want to pry. Hiromi was enough of an emotional wreck to begin with.
Hiromi looked down and back up to her sister. "I'm just gonna go get dressed." She smiled lightly to Haruhi before starting to walk away.
Haruhi went to sit back down with everyone else. "Where did Hiromi go?" Honey asked holding onto Usa- chan tightly.
"She went to go change because someone forgot to tell her she needed to dress up." Haruhi throw a slight bit of shade at the orange haired twin.
"Well I would've but she was kind of busy." Hikaru said looking from Haruhi to Kyoya.
"What are you talking about?" Haruhi asked concerned trying to figure out what was wrong with her sister.
"She was talking to Kyoya. I wasn't about to interrupt that conversation." Hikaru stated not wanting to overstep his boundaries.
Haruhi looked to Kyoya. "She looked upset. You talked to her?" Haruhi questioned, relieved that the conversation finally happened.
"What did you do to her?" Kaoru accused him of the worst.
"I didn't do anything. I just told her what really happened." Kyoya regurgitated back at Kaoru. He didn't want to get angry but he was definitely on the edge.
"So she was just upset for no reason?" Kaoru asked still frustrated from earlier.
"She was upset because she wasn't sure what really happened that day." Kyoya said starting to get angry. "Why do you care so much, huh? Your girlfriend is sitting right here." He said truthfully. He didn't regret it either. He didn't like the way Kaoru was acting and he especially didn't like how Kaorus emotions were scattered.
"I care because she's my best friend. That's all." Kaoru answered simply.
But everyone knew. Everyone knew that that wasn't all. Even Rei knew. And she was hurt. She knew for a while and she didn't know what to do. She sipped her drink before looking to Kaoru who was furrowing his eyebrows.
Kaoru didn't want to look at Rei because he knew he would feel guilty. He really liked her but he knew that what he was doing was affecting her and he hated that he was acting the way he was. He grabbed her hand and held it as a way of saying he was there for her even though he was upset. Rei held his hand back knowing that she would soon not be holding it again.
"Alright men. Calm down. We need to put this feuding aside and start sticking together. That's what the host club is all about right?" Tamaki said happily as he added an awkward laugh after.
"Tama-chan is right, you guys." Honey nodded once.
"We can't be fighting all the time if we are supposed to be a family." Mori said as they looked to him.
