Jack's POV

I heard the loud chime of a bell on one of the carriages gliding past us as we re-entered the 'Main Street U.S.A' part of the park.

"Are you sure this is the right way, Felix?", Ken questioned.

"Yeah I know what I'm doing, we've got to cut through here", Felix replied.

The two of them stopped as Ken demanded to check the map and the rest of us waited. My eyes focused on a nearby sign and read that there was an ice-cream shop further down the street. I stepped forward and stared longingly up at the sign thinking about how nice an ice-cream would be on this warm day. Then I felt a presence next to me.

"Whatcha looking at?", Mark asked as he ran his fingers through his blue hair.

"Nothin', just thinking about how good an ice-cream sounds right now", I sighed.

He turned back to the rest of the group, noticing they were still looking at the map and asked if they wanted any ice-cream. They shook their heads in turn. Since they didn't want any, Mark suggested that him and I walked down and met the others at 'Space Mountain'.

"Ooo alone time, I get it. Can we trust you both though?", Felix winked.

"Felix would you quit it with this? Just shut your pie hole for once! What exactly do you think we are going to do?", I growled.

"The possibilities are endless, pretty sure you'll be holding hands next time we see you", he teased. I rolled my eyes but before I could retaliate Mark tugged my arm and we set off down the street.

The two of us strolled along the brick paved bath. It was very crowded now and the rumbles of voices erupted all around. A group of children skipped past dressed as princesses, their dresses swaying with the motion. They came very close and I quickly shifted to the side to avoid them. I knocked Mark in the process and apologized. It made me think back to what Felix said and how he's been taunting us for most of this trip. I couldn't understand it, was I missing something? I began to enter a state of deep thought as we continued walking, thinking about everything that's happened while I've been here. I feel strange, but I don't know why.

"Hey, you OK dude?", the American asked with concern.

"Y-yeah, just th-thinking", I stuttered.

He didn't look satisfied with my answer, however I quickly changed the subject by pointing out the sight of the ice-cream shop. I started to rush forward but was suddenly stopped by something pulling on the back of my jeans and the sound of Mark uttering a noise of surprise. My gaze shot behind me and I saw that the balloons we had attached to our jeans had become entwined. 'It must have been from when I bumped into him. Oh Felix would get such a kick out of this', I thought. I awkwardly laughed, trying to play it cool and fumbled with the string in an attempt to untie the balloon. Mark followed suit. Eventually we untied ourselves and realized we needed to ditch the balloons, so we tied them to a nearby railing. Once we'd got our ice-creams we slowly made our way into 'Tomorrowland' to re-join the others. I'd chosen a coffee flavoured ice-cream whereas Mark had a strawberry one. It was good to cool down, the LA heat is hard to get used to when you come from mild Ireland. I could see a large, white building with jagged structures at the top which is what they told us to look out for. Sure enough, I saw the other four men waiting in the distance.

We approached them and Ryan began to stare at the frozen desserts in our hands. "Now I'm looking at those I really want one now", he stated, licking his lips.

"Tough, we aren't going back there now. I did ask if you wanted one", Mark asserted.

Ryan's expression changed to a sulk and the blue-haired man comforted him by saying he could go to the shop before we left since it was on the way out. Mark and I finished off our ice-creams before we all made our way into the building. I could see his face light up with a childlike joy. 'Trust him to get so excited about a space themed ride', I thought. The walk up to the ride was quite long and calming music played as we ambled up several ramps. Illuminated signs reading 'Space Mountain' hung above the entrance to a corridor tinted with red lights. We reached the carts after a slight descent and the six of us climbed into the next one. The ride was really fast paced and really dark but it was great fun.
