I gave my mom a mix of the ' stop mom' and the ' please go easy' look. I felt kinda bad because he was about to get questioned. ALOT. " so, young man, how much do you care for my daughter?" She asked. I could see him sweating in fear. " uh, I care about her a lot, we both care about each other." He said. " ok and how old are you?" She asked " I just turned 19 today." He said " hm. Happy birthday, by the way." She said eying him. " where are you from?" She asked " I'm from here. I acually live not too far from here." He said using his thumb to point behind him. " ok, so have you guys kissed yet?" She asked giving him a sly look. He opened his mouth to say something, but I said " OK MOM THAT'S ENOUGH!" I blurted nervously laughing before he had the chance. " we'll be back mom, we're just going out." I told her standing up. " but you just got here, speaking of which, where have you been? We're you kidnapped? Did they hurt you?!" She asked anxiously. " no mom, I'm fine. I was just....on an adventure. " I said grabbing jayden to get up and headed towards the door. " wait but--" she said before i yelled " bye mom!" And walked out side with him.

Out of there immediately." I said. We started walking when we saw a cafe. "Hey, let's go to that cafe over there! That'll get our minds off of things." I said " ok" he said. We walked in and there was a line. There were about 5 people in front of us. " omg!" I groaned " why are you groaning? There is literally 5 people in front of us." He said emphasizing 5. " I can't wait that long!" I said " you're so impatient." He said half smiling. After about 7 minutes, we were finally able to order.

" hello, and welcome to starlucks cafe, how may I help you?" ( lol) The cashier said in a bubbly voice. " hi, I'd like a black coffee with 2 sugars" He said " what do you want?" He asked me " I'll take a... hot chocolate" I said analyzing the menu hanging behind the cashier. " and a hot chocolate please?" He asked the lady. " sure that'll be $ $22.25 please." She said. He patted his pocket and looked at me in horror. I smiled. " I got this" I whispered. I took out a twenty dollar bill and a five dollar bill and handed it to her. She gave me back my change. I smirked at Jayden. He rolled his eyes at me. " Your beverages will be delivered to you in a second. Feel free to have a seat. Have a nice day!" She sprung. We sat at a booth. " I didn't know you liked your coffee black!" I said " well now you do." He said in an up-beat voice, smiling. After a while, a waiter brought us our coffee. They were in fancy little cups. I smiled at it. Mine had little marshmallows in it. They were so tiny, they were adorable. I tried to take a sip but I burnt my lip because it was too hot. " ahh!" I said before putting my cup down. " are you ok?" Jayden asked snickering. " yeah, I'm fine. Just a little burn." I said in a dull voice.
