Sparring

-Neji's POV-
It's been one week since we met the girls. And in that one week me and Tenten have gotten close. We would always sit together at lunch and we would talk all the time about random stuff ( we even gave each other our phone numbers and we text after school all the time). But what I like about her is that she's different. Not that everyone isn't, but she's an... interesting perosn. And she knows a lot about me. And about my past. She knows that Hinata's dad and I are not getting along very well. When I told her about it she made it her goal for Hinata's family and I to get along.

"Neji!" Tenten yelled. She ran to me then smiled when she caught up. "Hey!" She said cheerfully. "Hey..." I said. "So what's up?" She asked.

We were talking about school when she suddenly said," oh hey Neji I have a question". "Okay...what is it?" I asked. "Well you see I signed up for this martial arts thing and we have a practice today so..." She started to say," will you come with me?" I was shocked. Speechless. Surprised. Stunned. Dumbfound. And other synonyms of "shocked".

"Sure" I said trying to act like it was nothing. But I'm pretty sure my voice kind of sounded nervous because Tenten said "Don't be too nervous Neji! You just have to watch, no biggie!"

We went to the gym only to find that no one was there. "Hello! Anyone here?" She yelled out. Then I noticed a note on the board. "Hey Ten" I said. I poked her side then pointed at the board. "Wha— no practice today? Seriously? Well this sucks..." She said. She let out a deep sigh of frustration. I patted her back gently. "Sorry Neji. You came here for no reason.." She said. "Don't worry about it" I said

As long as Im with you I'll go anywhere...

I wanted to add but of course I will NEVER EVER EVER admit that I kinda have some feelings for her.

   Tenten put her head on her hands and she let out another sigh. Then an idea popped into my head.

"Do you want to spar with me?" I asked. Her head shot up and she looked at me like she was trying to figure out the hardest question on the universe. "You and me? Spar? Really?" She asked. "Yeah." I replied. "Okay then!" She said. She had a big smile on her face. "Don't go too easy on me Ms. Kunai. I'm warning you I have some skills" I said playfully. " Why would I go easy on you Mr. Hyuga?" She said back. We both smiled then we charged at each other. We exchanged blows, kicks, and punches. Then finally, Tenten lost her guard for a second. Then I pinned her to the ground.

Our faces were really close. I felt my face grow hot so I quickly turned away. We both sat down since we were really tired from our match. "You know you are probably the first one to ever beat me" Tenten said breaking the silence. "Oh really now? So how does it feel to lose?" I asked. I was still not looking at her. "It feels... Good. Because now I have a challenge." She said. "Oh" I said. After a few minutes I felt my face cool down. I faced Tenten.

Her eye widened. Then I noticed something was off. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks.

Where are my glasses?!
