Dinner #2

—Naruto's POV—

I was glad that I could be of help to Sauske. The teme's been suffering for as long as I can remember. At least now, if my plan worked, he would be able to live happily with Sakura; not with some girl in another country. "I think we should tell the girls about this." Shikamaru said. "Tell us what?" Someone said behind us. A very familiar voice.

Crap...

All of us turned around and came face to face with our girlfriends. "Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Neji, you have some explaining to do." Tenten said. "M-matte! What exactly did you hear?" I asked. "Nothing. And that's the issue! What exactly are you hiding from us?" Ino asked in a scary voice. "Y-you aren't ch-cheating on us, a-are you?" Hina-chan questioned. "Nani?! Of course not!" I yelled. "Good, if you break her heart, I break your face." Sakura said and sent a death glare to all of us. "No, I swear we aren't!" I repeated. "Then explain everything!" Tenten and Ino yelled. I sighed. "Teme..?" I asked. He nodded. "My father engaged me with someone else........"

—TIME SKIP—

"NANNNNNNNIIIIIII?!?!?!?!" Tenten's and Ino's yells echoed at the roof. "Shush!" Shikamaru said. "W-wait....engaged?" Sakura said. She looked like she was about to cry. "Yeah...." Sasuke said and tried to comfort her. "A-and....you're going to France? For 3 years?" Tenten asked. "Seems so..." Neji replied. "Y-you're leaving me?" The brunette asked. "No, no. Trust me I don't." Neji said quickly. "B-but it's only three years. I-it's not that bad. I-I s-say Sakura a-and Sasuke have i-it the worst." Hinata said. "But still, long distance relationships are hard. Not only are you far away, but the time zone is different too." Ino said. "W-we'll manage. Right Neji?" Tenten's voice cracked. "Yes we will. I know we will." Neji said. "Then....what about Sakura and Sasuke?" Ino asked. She sounded sad too. "...W-we can stop your engagement...r-right? Please tell me you can! I....I don't want you to leave me! P-please!" Sakura said. Her tears were flowing non-stop from her eyes. "Naruto came up with a plan. We don't know if it will work but—" Sasuke's cell phone began to ring again. Sasuke said a string of colourful words before answering it. "Hello?" He sounded mad. "Sasuke, honey, I'm so sorry!" We heard Mikoto-San speak loudly. Sasuke put the phone on speaker. "Honey, I know your dad engaged you. Trust me I tried to stop it. But he just..." She trailed off. "I know. Thank you, mom." Sasuke says. "Hello, Ms Mikoto. It's me Naruto. Would it be alright if I asked you just one favour?" I asked and took the phone. Everyone stared at me. I grabbed Hinata's hand and squeezed it. "Naruto? Of course, what is your request?" Mikoto-San asked. "We were wondering if you can hold a dinner tonight. All of us will be attending and Sasuke has some news to tell all of you." I say. "Of course, of course." The Uchiha woman said through the phone cheerfully. "Alright, thank you!" I say. Sasuke ends the call and they all stared at me. "Phase one complete!" I say with a smile. Everyone sighed but smiled.

Now the next part will be all up to Sasuke....

—TIME SKIP—

"Ah, Naurto, come in, come in!" Mikoto-San said. I bowed and walked in with Hinata. "My, is she your girlfriend? And she's a Hyuga too!" Mikoto-San said. "Yes, she is." I said and smiled. "You guys look absolutely adorable!" She cooed. She led us to the dining table and we saw Itachi, Shisui, Shikamaru, and Ino there. "Yo!" I say and took a seat beside Shikaamru. "Nice outfit." I commented. "It was so troublesome to even put it on..." Shikamaru said lazily. I laughed along with Hinata. "Hey guys!" Someone said from behind. We all turned around and saw Tenten and Neji. Tenten took a seat beside Ino. The dining table was filled it's chatter and laughter. "Hn. You guys are loud." A monotone voice said from behind. We all turned around yet again and saw Sasuke with Sakura. "Yo, Teme!" I say. He nodded and the two couples sat down beside each other. "So...about the last phase of the plan, how are you going to tell your dad?" I asked. "I'll just tell him." The Uchiha said and held Sakura's hand. "What. Is. The. Meaning. Of. This?!" Someone yelled. We turned around (seriously what is up with us turning aorund?!) and saw Faguku-San. Everyone's eyes widened. Sasuke stood up. "Father please, I'm already with Sakura." He says. "I don't care. You must end your relationship. NOW." He says and storms off. Everyone looked shocked. Sakura looked like she was about to cry. It was silent for a moment. ".....So what now?" Ino asked. "Your father doesn't approve. And...." Tenten trailed off. Itachi and Shisui left the dining table and went after Faguku-San. Everyone was silent again. "I think dinner is over now..." Sasuke says and looks down. Everyone stood up and started to leave.

Tonight was horrible.
