~Sakura's POV~
I hurried out of my classroom and went outside to the big old cherry blossom tree. Underneath branches of the tree were Ino, Shikamaru, Hinata, Naruto, Tenten, and Neji. They were all too into their conversations to notice that I was there. Finally they noticed that I was here. "Sakura!" They said. "Hey. Sorry for interrupting your conversation." I said. "No it's okay. Actually sorry that we ignored you" Tenten said. She rubbed the back of her neck. She always does that when she's embarrassed. "S-sorry about that Sakura" Hinata stuttered. She was playing with her hands which is a sign when she's nervous. "No really it's okay." I said. With that they went back to their conversations again. I looked around for anyone to talk to but all I saw was Tenten and Neji talking about who knows what, Ino and Shikamaru arguing about something pointless, and Naruto telling Hinata about how awesome ramen is. Then I noticed someone wasn't here.
Where's Sasuke? It's been 15 minutes and he still hasn't shown up... Maybe something happened to him? Hmm...or maybe he had something to do! Yeah maybe that's it...
Another 5 minutes had passed and there was still no sign of Sasuke. I was starting get really worried. So I got up and went to look for him. The others didn't notice but it's probably best if I didn't tell him or they will all freak out. I searched for Sasuke down the halls. Just when I was about to give up I noticed someone behind the lockers. I got curious so I went up to it.
The sight that I saw shocked me. There on the ground was Sasuke, beat up and bruised. "S-Sasuke!" I yelled. Who could have done this to him? I was getting really worried. I checked his pulse.
Good...he's still alive...
Then Sasuke opened his eyes. "Oh my gosh!W-who did this to you?" I asked. I could see him trying to tell me but his body was probably too tired and ached all over. "Here I'll bring you to the nurses office" I said.
When we got there there wasn't a nurse. So I had to heal Sasuke's wounds so it doesn't get infected. I asked Sasuke to take off his glasses. He tensed up and looked like he didn't want to. "It's just your glasses Sasuke, and I need to heal your wounds" I said softly.
He reluctantly took it off. When he did I was shocked to see that he had the most handsomest face I've ever seen. Then I remembered about his cut on his cheek. I forced myself to focus on healing it. But it was hard. REALLY REALLY hard. I could feel myself blushing from the thought of him. And if I looked at him again I'd probably turn even more red. So I avoided eye contact with him.
After I healed him I helped him lay down on the bed. I wanted to leave, I really did but my body moved on its own. I walked slowly towards the bed then stopped in front of Sasuke. Then I leaned in and kissed him on the forehead. " a kiss always helps you heal faster" I heard myself say.
Oh gosh this is sooooo embarassing......
I saw Sasuke's eyes widen (and did he just blush?). Then I forced myself to walk away. But not before turning around," you know, when it's just the two of us together, you should really be more like yourself" I said. Then I closed the door behind me and walked back to the big old cherry blossom tree.
When I got back everyone walked towards me and asked me where I was and they (finally) noticed that Sasuke wasn't there too. I covered up for him and told them that he was sick and that he is probably at home. They believed me (but I saw Hinata's stares, she know that something happened). They went back to talking with each other. I wanted to go back to Sasuke, but he has to rest.
And I kissed him on the forehead for goodness sake! There's no way that I can act normal when I just pulled off something like THAT
For the rest of the lunch break I sat down with my back against the cherry blossom tree thinking about him.
