"Admit it, you liked getting breakfast for dinner."

Smirking, Taylor shrugged, "I didn't hate it."

I rolled my eyes, "Come on, admit I'm great." I bumped shoulders with him as we walked back to my car.

"You're alright."

I scoffed, "I'm fantastic!"

He laughed as I turned the key in the ignition, "If I deny it, will you still drive me home?"

"We'll see."

Rolling his eyes, Taylor grabbed for my phone and continued scrolling through its library, "I still can't believe this."

"What? My impeccable music taste?"

"Has anyone ever told you, you're pretentious?"

"I am not!" I exclaimed, shooting a look at Taylor, "I'm just..."

"Super pretentious?" Taylor filled in.

I laughed, "I hate you."

"But do you really? I mean, I'm pretty great. And I do make you coffee..."

"You get paid to make me coffee?"

"That's not the important part."

I eyed him, "Right."

"It's not!"

Chuckling, I turned onto the highway and headed back to town, "You're so weird."

"I am fantastic."

"No way! If I can't be fantastic then you can't be fantastic!"

"Nope, I'm better."

"Taylor! What the hell?"

He was in stitches of laughter as I whined about his response, "You're so cute."

My face began to turn red as I huffed, "And don't forget it."

He laughed again. And he continued to laugh until I pulled into his driveway, "Get out kid."

Taylor smiled, "This was great... even if you are a shitty bowler."

"Oh, stuff it."

Smirking, Taylor reached over to curl a piece of hair behind my ear. My breathing stopped as I stared at him; taking in the honey color of his eyes and softly tousled blonde hair. My eyes wandered over his smooth skin and traced he outer rim of his thick framed glasses.

He smiled before pulling his hand away, "I'll see you later."

"R-right... bye."

I watched as Taylor walked up to the steps of his house. I sat there baffled as my mind swirled; I was ecstatic.
