Finding out pt. 1

Niyah P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of doctors running through the halls. I checked my phone and I had gotten 10 missed calls from an unknown number. So I decided to call it back.

P:person on the other line M:me

M:hello
P: Is this.. Teniyah McCall
M: Yes
P: well I'm sorry to disturb you but I am calling regarding to Mr. Taylor Caniff
m: no it's fine what's going on?
P: Taylor was one of the people who was on the plane that crashed during landing-
M: wait what!?!?!??!
P: the plane crash that happened when they were landing in NY. No worries he has no major injuries just minor cuts and bruises
M: um thank you but I have to go

I ended the call not caring if he had other things to say. the only thing I cared about was Taylor. I then began crying. I felt so bad that I couldn't go and see him. My leg is broken and I have to wait three weeks to get the cast removed. But, I was going to find a way to get to Taylor no matter what anyone says.

I decided to call Essence see if she knew what was going on.

P:pookie (essence) M:me

*ring ring r-
P:hello?
M:essence..
P: what happened Teniyah are you ok?
M:Taylor and Cameron got in a plane crash
P:...
M: Essence are you still there
P: Teniyah I already knew about this
M: wait wha-
P: It happened last night but I didn't want to tell you with everything that was going on
M: Esssence that's not a valid reason to me. You know how I feel about Taylor. You know that I will drop everything for him in a heart beat if something was wrong. Even with a broken leg I would try to do something to get to him.
P: Teniyah I'm sorry
M: yea me to

I said and that was the end of our conversation. I just laid back and let all my tears come out. Every single tear that was left inside of me spilled out of my eyes in this moment. Everything was going horribly. Nothing was going as planned.

-my mom called me crazy
-essence is keeping things from me
-essence broke my leg
-Taylor got into a plane accident and I can't see him
-shean is fucking up essence and I's life

To many bad thugs going on. I guess those are the consequence's of life. There's always going to be a hill your going to have to walk over. This one just seems to be pretty big.

My thoughts were then interrupted by someone I didn't want to see, but needed to at the same time. It was pretty dangerous though

"Teniyah.."

"D-dad" I said scared shitless

"It's ok I'm not going to hurt you or touch you" he said sitting down "I saw about what happened to you are you ok?"

"I'm fine. I want you to leave. I don't thinks it's good for you to be here right now" I said hoping he would go away

"Look I want to apologize.. for everything. I'm sorry for betraying you and your sister I-

"I'm not the one you need to be apologizing to. It's essence you should be"

"I know but it affected you to" he said with big sincere eyes. He looked like he was really sorry and his breath didn't wreak of alcohol. His eyes begged for forgiveness and I could tell he was serious.

"I forgive you.. but you have to promise me something" I said looking in his eyes

"Ok"

"Promise me you'll never get drunk again or if you do to never be around essence and I" I said

"I promise" he said shaking my hand "I have to say I missed you and your sister."

"Dad" I said crying
