At school we spent the day passing notes, whispering, eating lunch with Essence and Justin, splitting up for classes, and meeting up in the parking lot.
"See you at 8 baby girl." He said kissing my cheek.
I kissed his cheek too. It was warm ...like he had been smiling a lot.
"What's so funny ?" He asked making me realize I was giggling.
"Nothing."
He grabbed my wrist crossed them and pulled me toward him. I was so short I had to look up at him. "Yes ?" I say trying to look serious.
"I really like u Teniyah." He said. He leaned in and I thought I would get a kiss. Instead ...he entered his car and left me standing there in the middle of the parking lot. I playfully rolled my eyes and walk over to my Altima.
I walked in the door to find Essence eating.
"Wanna help me get ready for my date ?" She jumped up and ran to bathroom.
"Come on !!" I ran to the bathroom laughing at her. She smoothed eye shadow over my eye lids. Then she used her finger to even it out. After she put a little bit of light pink blush on my cheeks. She then took sparkle and sprinkled it on each cheek evenly. When she was done with that she smeared some nude lip gloss on my lips making them pop. Then she took a black pencil and colored my eyebrows in. She then brushed my eyelashes. When my face was done ...she started on my hair. She straightened it out and did looser curls which shows how long my hair really is. I turned out like this:
