I woke to the sound of my phone ringing. I groaned turning over to quickly grab it and answer it.
"Hello?"
"Jackie? Get up, I need you to go out and be seen with Tory." Brianna, my manager said from the other line.
"Ugh, Bri it's still so early." I groaned turning over to check the time.
"8am isn't that early, now hurry and get up. This fake relationship is to help your modeling too Jackie." She said before hanging up.
I slowly got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom.
When I first moved to New York to become a model, I had no idea a fake relationship would be involved. But I guess there's lots of stuff that goes on in the industry that people don't know about.
Having to fake date Tory Lanez isn't the hardest thing to do in the world but it definitely wasn't something I planned to do.
I walked out of my bedroom into the apartment I shared with my best friend Jade.
"I keep getting calls from unknown numbers Jackie." She said as she noticed me walk in the room.
I looked at her with a blank expression.
"Do you think it's him?" I asked looking down.
"Abel's not stupid, I'm sure he's figured out your in New York." She said turning back around to what she was doing.
"I've been getting calls too." I said making my way into the kitchen.
"No one can know Jade."
"I know I know, you never mentioned Toronto to Tory have you?"
"Toronto?"
We both turned as Tory made his way into the apartment.
"You just let yourself in?" Jade asked turning to look at him.
"Yeah, why not?"
Jade rolled her eyes, making her way into her room.
"Toronto?" Tory asked looking to me.
I started to worrying, trying to hurry and make up something quickly.
"Uh me and Jade used to live in Toronto, nothing really. She was just asking if I ever mentioned it." I lied quickly.
"Oh, alright then."
My phone suddenly buzzed. I pulled it out, noticing it was the group chat I had with my 5 best friends.
