By the next morning, all of social media knew about Taylor's kidnapping. Paparazzi were flooding the street outside the hotel, and Abel's known appearance soon wasn't going to help.

As far as the public knew, best friend of Jackie Heston, Taylor Gomez, had gotten taken from her hotel in Toronto last night. And she was still missing. They had seen Abel arriving at the airport in New York, so the Internet was awaiting Abel's arrival in Toronto. Since the entire internet figured it that we were secretly dating.

I sat in the hotel room, no makeup on, my hair thrown in a bun and dried tears on my face. I was waiting for Abel.

In times like this, my need for Abel was always obvious. Even back when we lived here. In situations that involved stuff like this, even a year ago Abel knew he would have to give me extra attention. He knew how nervous and anxious I would get if Cash or even him were involved in things like this. And now the fact that it involved one of my best friends and it was all my fault, Abel had to know I was a mess being alone right now.

Jade would sit with me and try to tell me it wasn't my fault but I couldn't fully believe her.

Of course, all four of us were upset, but only Bella and Jade knew why I was so torn apart by this. I thought I was the cause.

It only made it worse thinking that now my three best friends in this room with me right now were also in danger. The security guards standing outside our door could only do so much.

"I ordered breakfast from room service. We should eat something guys." Bella spoke softly as one of the hotel workers rolled in a tray full of food.

Hailey nodded slowly and got up to eat. She thanked the hotel worker and he walked out.

Jade sat next to me and slowly rubbed my back trying to comfort me.

"I'll get you some food." Jade said softly while getting up to go get me a plate.

I didn't respond.

Bella looked at me and gave me a small smile before mouthing "It's not your fault.". But I just couldn't believe that anymore.

The door opened and one of the security guards held the door opened as Abel walked through.

I immediately jumped up and ran to him, wrapping my arms around his waist. He wrapped his arms around me tightly as I started crying.

"Honey shh, it's okay Valerie. I'm here now." He whispered into my ear.

"We'll be outside boss." Abel nodded to the security guard as he shut the door.

I continued sobbing into Abel's chest while he slowly rubbed my back to comfort me.

"You should take her into our room." Bella said while pointing into her and Hailey's room. "She's been having a hard time." She spoke sadly while looking at me, feeling sorry I was so upset.
