Jake's Pov
"That Kim. Argh... if she wasn't the daughter of the CEO of Cothane Inc, she would have been long dead!" I whisper to myself.
Why the hell is she even in this school? She ruins EVERYTHING!
"Jake!"
I turn around to see Chloe rushing towards me, clutching her side. Oh my god, can't people understand that I want to be left alone?
Chloe's Pov
"Jake!"
He turns around and a frustrated expression crosses his face.
"Stop. Don't follow me." He says firmly, starting to turn away.
"But we are all worried for you! Jake please...we're here for you, you don't need to keep everything locked up inside." I search his eyes for signs of lenience.
He just turns around and spits at me.
"Can you stop! Don't you have some shit to do?"
"I-I uh...." my face portrays it all it seems as Jake moves to hurriedly apologize.
"Crap! Shit. I'm sorry Chloe!" He says, looking apologetic.
"Y-you .....stupid IDIOT!" I turn away from him and tears start to fall down my cheeks.
"Chloe! I'm sorry. I'm sorry!" Jake frantically apologises, then reaches forward to turn me around.
"Chloe-"
"Don't touch me." I say, my voice dark and I tear off down the hallway.
"But Chloe- Watch out!" Jake shouts.
His warning comes a moment too late and I fall headfirst down the staircase, hitting my head hard on the ground.
"Oh...Shit!"
Jake runs towards me.
"Chloe! Chloe! You with me? Chloe!" Jake practically screamed in my face, but I am too dazed to reply.
I then feel him lift my upper body up and I groan in pain.
Jake's Pov:
"OH MY GOD! FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!" I struggle to lift her up fully without causing her pain.
I must get her to the infirmary before it's too late...
I take off in that direction, carrying Chloe in my arms bridal style, trying not to jostle her.
"Jake...don't...ok" She mumbles in a dazed state.
This only makes me quicken my footsteps and when I finally reach the infirmary, I basically kick the door open and shout for the nurse.
"NURSE! COME QUICK SOMEONE IS UNCONSCIOUS!" I scream.
Nurse Annie, startled, appears around the corner and quickly deposits Chloe onto the infirmary's cot as I tap my foot on the ground impatiently. I stay silent while Nurse Annie makes her examination. After a full minute, she turns towards me with a strange look on her face.
"Jake..."
