Chapter 3-The Friends

Chloe's POV

"Come on! Come on! Quick" Silena shouts as she pulls me closer to what seemed to be the cafeteria.

"Why are you rushing?"

"Quick before they get mad!"

Ok, that wasn't something I was expecting her to say. I speed up my pace before I get to piss 'them' off.

Once we open the double doors, we see two girls with very mad looks on their faces.

"Where on earth were you?!" says the girl with long, wavy brown hair and blue eyes with grey speckles in them.

"Sorry! We got waylaid by Jake and his gang...they were being mean to Chloe over here." Silena replies, panting from running all the way towards the cafeteria entrance.

"Oh wait! You're Chloe? Welcome to Stardon High! Oh and don't listen to those jerks, they have absolutely nothing on you!" A girl with curly blonde hair and bright blue eyes assures me, "I'm Zoey by the way, and this girl here is Kylie, you've already met Silena. And you, are about to be part of our group! We absolutely detest those mean girls and boys, so you've officially gained yourself two new guards!"

"As Zoey has so kindly introduced me already, why don't we get to know each other better? This, is going to be blast." Kylie adds in, while Silena smiles enthusiastically, squeezing my hand for support.

"There will always be people there for you Chloe, you're not alone in this world. Besides, I've always wanted to be a "guardian angel". "Silena jokes, coaxing a weak smile out of me.

But I inwardly gape at Zoey, Kylie and Silena. How could people like them want to associate with me? I am still in a daze as they lead me towards the bleachers, all the while talking at a million miles per hour.

Just now was probably the time in my life where I talked the most at once. I now know that Kylie is extremely sporty, brave and outgoing. She frequently goes for triathlon competitions and is part of the school swimming team, the track and field team, as well as the basketball team. Zoey is friendly, bubbly and is the school's diva aka Aphrodite. She knows all about makeup, the latest fashion trends, and on top of that, is possibly the prettiest girl in this school. Silena is smart and easy going. She always gets at least an A/B on every exam, while along with Zoey being a model for a popular clothing line "The Triple Stars". And there's me...ordinary. But It seems like Stardon High may be the place where things change...
