Mizu's POV:

I yawned and popped out of bed. I noticed Uta was still asleep so I quietly placed our CD from the car in our small magical music-box-thing-of-the-future and got ready for the day. Uta will need to wake up soon, we have work at 9am and it's already 15 passed 8. I'll just have to gently, and carefully wake her up, showing complete respect for her need and wants to sleep in.

I whacked her with a stick.

"MIZU!" Uta hollered. I laughed. "Why?!"

"Just making sure it works!" Mizu smiled. I smiled too and we both laughed.

"Oh crap! Look at the time!" Uta stated and got up and started getting ready.

Uta dropped me off at Doomsday Comics for work, then she headed off to her bakery.

"Maybe I should have worn something more professional.." I said to myself and looked down at my black hoodie, white Tokyo Ghoul shirt, black shorts, black socks stretching just above my knee, and knee high sneakers.

"What am I saying, it's a comics book store!" I laughed and skipped inside. My eyes widened as I gazed upon all the shelves lined with comics and manga. "Amazing..!" I smiled and looked along the shelves.

"Hi there, you wouldn't happen to be my new employee would you?" A man, looking to be in his late 20's with a small beard, thick brown hair, in an orange shirts and blue jeans asked me.

"Oh. Yeah! I am. Hi, I'm Mizu." I smiled and held my hand out to the man.

"Call me Mother Doomsday. It's nice to meet you Mizu. And nice shirt!" He smiled and shook my hand. I laughed. " Well, follow me and we'll get ya started!"

"Awesome!" I cheered and followed my new boss, Mother Doomsday.

Uta's POV:

I stepped into the bakery kinda shyly, feeling like the outfit I chose for today wasn't very professional..

"It's too casual.." I whispered harshly to myself and patted down my yellow blouse, which I had paired with floral print pants, and my brown boots with floral lace on the side.

The light bell above the door rang, alerting the store that I was here. A small lady, looking about 50, in a light blue dress and dirty white apron popped up from the counter. I jumped a little at her sudden appearance.

"Hi! You're my new employee eh? Well welcome! I'm Mrs. Hanabira. But you can just call me Mrs. H." My new boss greeted me cheerfully.

"Hi, I'm Uta. It's nice to meet you." I greeted back.

"Welcome! Come over here, and let's get you started!" Mrs. H gestured for me to join her behind the counter.

She showed me around the bakery, and taught me how to make the sweets just right. She showed me how to clean the windows and clear the tables, and even how to fold the napkins a certain way. It was a slow day, we had barely any customers. I was wiping down the counter when the bell over the entrance rang. A tall boy, in a red hoodie and sunglasses walked in. I looked at him strangely. He strutted up to the counter confidently and rested his elbows on the counter. I looked at him.

"Can I help you?" I asked, not sure what to think of this guy. The man took off his sunglasses, showing his light brown-ish red eyes.

"Yeah. I'll have a chocolate cake to go please." The guy stated orderly.

"What's the occasion?" I asked.

"No occasion. I just lost a dumb bet and now I owe one of my friend's a cake.." He answered and leaned on the counter with much swagger. I smiled lightly.
