Two days later:

"Finally! HOGWARTS HERE WE COME!" Mizu cheered as we drove down the street, on our way to work. "When do you think our letters will come?!" Mizu asked.

"Soon..soon." I laughed and put our CD in the car. "Mizu..but really what do you think happened a couple days ago?"

"I don't know..WAIT! Isn't your uncle Jacob Pevsner?"

"Late uncle..yeah."

"He was the Master of Sound remember?!" Mizu exclaimed.

"Yeah I know. But Elements can't be passed down that way..can they? Do you think I'm an Elemental Master?!" I replied, getting excited.

"YEAH!!!!!!!" Mizu screamed at the top of her lungs, making me swerve a little on the road.

"But what about you? Are you related to any Masters?"

"Not that I know of."

"Hm..Oh! We're here! See you later Mizu!" I waved as Mizu ninja rolled out the car.

"See ya!" She waved back and ran inside Doomsday Comics.

An Elemental Master..me? Well it was a high possibility..but how come these powers never worked before a couple days ago? Maybe it was a flook? I need to get this checked out. But who can I go to about this??

Mizu's POV:

This is so awesome! My best friend is an Elemental Master!! But..what does that make me? As far as I know, I'm not related to any Elementals. Maybe I was cursed as a child or something??

"Mizu!" Lloyd called to me from behind a shelf. I jumped slightly at his sudden appearance.

"Hey Lloyd!" I smiled and greeted my new friend.

"Are you alright? Looks like something's on your mind." Lloyd asked. I blushed lightly.

"Nothing!! On my mind..that is.."

I can't let him know about Uta and I...can I? He's a master too..so maybe he'd be able to help..no! He won't believe me. Uta and I totally annihilated those thieves! He'd think we're evil or something..and the last thing Uta and I need right now is a team of ninja after us. Then again..Lloyd is different.

"Right. Well, if you want to talk about it, I'm right here." He smiled at me kindly.

"Thanks."

"Oh Mizu! Great, here right on time! Could you dust the tops of the shelves for me?" MD asked while peeking his head out from behind a shelf.

"Sure!" I agreed and he tossed a dry rag at me, I caught it and got to work.

"Need some help?" Lloyd asked me, still standing behind the shelf and poking his head over the top.

"Nope! I'm good but thanks for asking!"

"You sure?"

"Yup!" I jumped up on my tippy toes and started whipping the tops of the shelves off. I lost balanced and kinda tripped, but I remained on my feet. Lloyd laughed.

"Oh hey! Did you hear about the attack on that apartment building the other day?" Lloyd asked me. My eyes widened.

"Uh..yeah. I did." I answered, not making eye contact.

"When the guys and I got to the scene it was crazy! Like a whole hurricane came in and just destroyed the place! Luckily, nobody was hurt. Well..besides these three guys the police identified as wanted burglars."

I stayed quiet.

"Do you know who or what the cause of all that was?" MD asked from behind me.

"Not yet..but we can sure tell it wasn't any kind of natural cause." Lloyd answered. I kept quiet.
