After hanging out in my room for an hour, I decide to man up and be a woman. It was time to show that guy who he was dealing with...

Or at least try and get him to trust me.

'Can you at least try to be friends with him?' Asks Rain in a condescending tone.

'Great! You ignore me for an hour, then rudely ask if I would 'try to be friends' with the guy that just tried to kill me?!' I reply, slightly aggravated at her selfish demands.

'Hey! I'm not being selfish! I'm trying to help you!' She says

"Whatever." I say out loud, "let's just go."

Rain, more or less satisfied for the moment, agrees and I quietly flit down the steps.

After sneaking back to the doorway of the guest room, I look in and see the guy sitting on the bed with his head in his hands.

Since his back is away from me, I decide to walk in. He whirls around and looks at who entered. I give a small and nervous smile. He rolls his eyes and faces the wall once again.

"I just want to help you, but if you're going to try and kill me every time I do something, it won't work very well." I mutter quietly, hoping he hears as well as I do.

"I don't need help from a leach." He says, still not moving from his previous position.

"Then how about a werewolf?" I ask, still not liking the fact that he didn't believe me.

"If you've got one, great. Then again, maybe not great... You may have kidnapped them too!" He replies, whirling around and facing me with his arms crossed.

"I am a werewolf! And for you're information I didn't kidnap you, I found you half dead in my forest! If not for me you wouldn't even be alive right now!" I shout, fed up with him.

"I would have lived on perfectly fine, thank you!" He says.

"Who ever you were fighting tore you to pieces!" I reply, putting an emphasis on the last words.

"You don't have any idea what I am capable of." He says darkly, stepping to close for comfort. I swallow and try to ignore the shiver that just ran down my spine.

"You're right, I don't. But I do know what I'm capable of." I reply, congratulating myself on how even my voice was able to come out.

He closes his eyes and shakes his head, stepping even closer to me, "Fine. 'Help' me if you wish, but don't you dare try to make me act like you're kind."

"I am a werewolf." I state very slowly, as if teaching a child.

"Whatever." He says, turning his back on me and sitting back down as he had before.

"Ugh! You're so infuriating!" I shout.

"You even talk like them; that's even more proof." He says with a cocky smirk.

'Why can't you even try to be friends...' Sighs Rain.

"Shut UP! BOTH of you!" I shout at them.

The guy looks at me with a weird look, "Both of me?" He asks.

"No! You and Rain!" I reply.

"It's not raining, crazy girl." He chuckles.

"No, no, no, no, no! Rain as in my wolf!" I sigh, "look, guy-"

"My name is Ashton." He says

"Ashton," I correct myself, "I am a werewolf who was made vampire, I can explain some other time but I would seriously appreciate if you would just stop."

"Stop what?" He asks with his smirk in place.

"That." I say, turning my back on him and walking down the hallway, into the living room.

Sadly enough, he follows me.

"You can't get away from me that easily, crazy girl." He says.

"Don't call me crazy girl." I reply, choosing to ignore his comment.

"Fine, whatever, princess."

"Princess?!" I spin around with a glare.

"Yes ma'am. So whiny, so spoiled, I bet you always get what you want." He explains with that idiotic smirk.

"You don't know anything about me so just stop. Also, my parents are coming home in like, two days. Can we at least try to get along until then?" I ask, slightly quoting what Rain was telling me as I spoke.

"As you wish." Comes his reply.

'Well at least he is the one chasing you now...' Says Rain.

'Go away.' I reply.

"Can I help you?" I ask whirling around to face the irritating jerk who was still following me.

"If you insist." he says with a wink. I roll my eyes and unconsciously begin to fiddle with my mothers  necklace.

"What is that?" he asks.

"Oh, this?" I ask, "its my mothers necklace."

"OK." he says, "can we go get some food then?" he asks with an embarrassed smile.

For once I smile back, "Sure. let's go."
