Chapter 16

Wow... Hey is anyone else thinken it's cool we've made it to chapter 16 already? Well... I am at least... xP lol. Well I know you guys haven't even got to the exciting part of the book because I've been stupid enough to make you wait even though I've already pretty much written out this whole series... Yes you heard me right. Series. Though this book might (and most likely will) end in a cliffhanger, there will be a sequel if not several following books. So... Yeah... I'm looking foreword to giving you guys the fun part of this story ;) any way.... Enough of my rambling,... Let's see what's happened to Ash!!!!!!!!! Oh and does anyone remember me mentioning Toby in chapter twelve? If not... You might want to read that chapter again because you will find out more about him in this chapter.

Chapter 16:

I stare at Ash's sleeping face, worried about how he will be when he wakes up. I gently brush a piece of his black hair away from his eyes and let my hand fall limply onto his chest. I don't want him to be angry with me... He hates vampires... His whole clan does.

"Rosie..." Ash grunts, lifting his arms and rubbing his face with his hands.

"Ash? Are you awake?" I ask tentatively.

"Yeah." He says.

"Are you feeling okay?" I continue, hoping he will talk to me like he normally does.

"Yeah." He says again.

"Do you want me to go get you something?" I ask. He shakes his head.

"I'm really sorry! Don't be mad at me please I didn't mean to it was an accident I couldn't control it and you were just standing there and I really am sorry!" I ramble on until I'm cut off by his hand over my mouth. I look into his now open and red eyes.

"I'm not mad." He says. I nod. He sighs and let's his hand fall.

"Your eyes are red..." I mutter, folding the sheets in random patterns around my fingers, not looking at him.

"I thought they probably would be." He chuckles, his voice lower than usual. I blush and look up at him.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I mean there's one thing Lysander didn't tell us... Apparently now that you've... Uh... Changed? Well not you but me, but I think I might have the same problem you had before..." He says, wincing as he cuts his lip on his fangs. That's when it hits me, he has Fangs and his eyes are red. A shiver runs down my back and I bite my lip.

"You won't hurt me." I say, half joking at what he said to me when I was having the problem. He laughs with be before leaning in.

Paxton's POV:

I laugh at the group in front of me who are awkwardly staring in the direction my travel companions ran off in.

"What was that?" Kieran asks, finally getting over his shy self and saying something.

"I have no idea..." Lucy says, as they all begin to try and figure out what just Happened. After a while of me just sitting back, acting as though I know nothing, I speak up.

"Her step mom turned her a vamp when she first shifted. This is a side effect. The mating process is more complex...she's actually a nice chick though, don't go hard on her she's had it bad. From what Ashton has told me, apparently her parents were the leaders of the Black Rider pack." I state. They all look at me surprised.

"The black rider pack?!" Exclaims Allie.

"Keep your voice down! Who knows what could happen if The Forests heard you! You know they were traumatized!!! I doubt they even know that They have another sister!!!" Hisses Lucy.
