Newt walked down the street, but his mind was still at home with (Name). He could not hide the smile that crept on his face when he thought back to when he was leaving and the girl looked at her schedule. "OH MY GOD I'M SO BEHIND SCHEDULE!" She screamed while instantly opening her books and beginning to read at a blazing speed. Newt snickered slightly before he stopped at the apartment building that Tina and Queenie lived in together. He walked up the stairway and stopped at the one doorway he remembered oh-so-well.

Newt knocked on the door three times before it was opened up by Tina, a bright smile forming on her lips. "Newt!" She ran towards him and hugged him tightly, with Newt loosing his breath for a moment before chuckling. "Hey, Tina." He said in a soft whisper before moving away from her. She smiled before grabbing his wrist and dragging the male into the apartment. "Queenie, Newt is here!" Tina announced, earning an "Okay!" from Queenie in the other room.

"Sit, sit. I'll make us some coffee." Tina said while walking to the stove and setting a pot with coffee ground in it to boil. Newt sat down after a moment and leant back against the seat. "So, how have things been? Where have you been staying?" Tina said, leaning back against the counter while looking at the man before her. Newt instantly paled while he realized he had wrote to Tina telling her when he would be in New York. He looked down to his feet, and Tina's smile faded. "Newt, where have you been staying?" She repeated, this time sounding a bit concerned.

"Newt." Tina said rougher. Newt did not dare to look up at Tina as he replied. "A sweet muggle-" He stopped to correct himself, looking up at Tina with soft eyes. "No-maj, I mean." He had said, with a slight nervous smile. Tina tensed up before smiling weakly. "She doesn't know you're a Wizard, right?" She asked, as if the question had completely obvious answer that should not even taken a moment of hesitation for Newt to answer. But, he did hesitate and he had held his breath as he spoke. "She does..." He had barely managed to say out. Tina's eyebrows furrowed and her blood was practically boiling.

"Are you stupid!?" Tina yelled while the pot started whistling out to be removed off the stove. She took the pot off the stove and slammed it onto the counter, the liquid spilling a bit as she did so. Newt jumped slightly and hung back, his eyes wide. "You can't just- just trust one of them like that!" Tina's harsh words almost made Newt scream out: "She's amazing, loyal, and I may just love her!", but he held his breath and kept his words in. Tina shook her head and covered her face with her hands.

"Please, don't do anything to her." The crack in his sad voice instantly broke Tina's heart, and she sighed and moved her hands away. "Do you like her or something?" She asked Newt in barely a whisper. Newt had a faint pink spread on his cheeks, and that was instantly enough for Tina to know what the answer was.

She didn't like it at all, but she wouldn't do anything.

At least, yet.
