"Alright class, I am very disappointed with the test scores. Most of you scored 50% or lower." Ms. Grenditch said, looking at me dead in the eye. I'm pretty sure I pissed myself right on the spot. This was not good. She was making her way around when she stopped at my desk and put the test facing downwards. She looked up at me and said, "Meet me after class." Shit. Shit. Shit. Layla and Miriam were looking at me ready to ask what happened. I flipped over my test to reveal...

100%?!

What the hell? The bell rang a few minutes later and everyone left for lunch. I honestly didn't know what was going to happen.

"Elena, your marks in almost all your classes are truly astounding it would be a shame not to use this for a good career in the future." I sighed in relief. God this teacher annoys the shit out of me, why does she have to make me so nervous? She pulled out a brochure from her desk drawer. "Take a look at these universities. With your talent, you could have a very bright future." She handed me the brochure. I glanced at the hundreds of university names on it. How do I tell her that I can't apply? Goddess, this would be so much more easier if she was a werewolf too.

"Thanks, I'll be sure to check them out." And with that, I plastered a fake smile on my face before I left the class.

"What the hell happened in there?" Layla asked.

"Wow, nice to see you too." I said rolling my eyes.

"Are you going to tell us what Ms. Grenbitch said or no? Cause I'm getting impatient." Miriam told me.

"Jeez, okay. I scored perfect on the Chemistry test. Sh-" Before I finished, Layla and Miriam spoke in unison, "Wait, you scored perfect?"

"Yes, and like I was saying before you interrupted me, she wanted me to look at the universities on this brochure." I informed the two, throwing the brochure in front of them.

"I actually hate you. That greasy old hag gave me an F." Miriam said angrily stabbing at her salad.

"Well, unlike the both of you, I don't give a shit about my marks." Layla told the both of us. "That crusty grandma can take my test and shove it up her wrinkly ass." Miriam and I nearly choked on our food laughing.

"Anyways, moving on from the grandma, have you guys picked out what you're wearing tonight?" Miriam asked.

"Um, no because I couldn't care less about the Black Moon Pack coming. All their doing is making a truce between our two packs." I said.

"Wow, of all people I'd think you would care about the truce, You are the Alpha's sister. Anyway, I heard the Black Moon's Alpha is so hot, and he hasn't found his mate yet." Miriam said wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"Ugh, you know I don't need a guy in my life right now. And anyways, he's one of the most feared Alphas, and I do not plan  to find out why." I told them, I grabbed a grape from my tray and popped it into my mouth.

"Well, whether you like it or not, we're coming over and getting you ready." Layla grinned as she stole a grape from me and tossed it into her mouth.

-

"Turn it up louder." I demanded. I was roaming through my walk-in closet, still unable to pick out a dress. We were all jamming to Starboy by the Weeknd.
