OOOOHHH ELENAS SOME TOUGH SHIT.

Recap:

I turned around and the last thing I remembered was punching him right in the jaw.

I couldn't stop staring at him. My mouth was open in the form of an 'O', I was so shocked at what I had done, He didn't even flinch. I could tell I hurt him and I was pretty amazed at how I had just done that.

He kept his jaw clenched so he wouldn't show the pain on his face.  My knuckles were throbbing. When I looked down, I saw my hand were blood red. I wasn't sure if it was actual blood or if I had just fucked up my hand but I couldn't feel any pain because of how much adrenaline was flowing through me. I looked back up again and my eyes were beginning to fill with hot tears. I immediately turned around and began walking away. Before I could even take two steps, Zack grabbed my wrist and looked at me with anger and fury written all over his face. His eyes were the darkest black you could ever imagine. I began to get scared even more than I already was, this situation kept getting worse and worse.

To make sure he wouldn't see the tears welling up in my eyes, I tilted my head down. His breathing grew faster and heavier and I tried escaping from his grasp but that only resulted in him tightening his hold around my wrist.

"L-let go." I demanded as firmly as possible. His face was inches from mine and I didn't look up once at him. Unable to control my voice, a sob slipped from within me. "Zack, let go."

His darks eyes met mine as a hot tear slipped down my burning cheek. I couldn't contain how I was feeling any longer. It just made me sad about how he'd treated me before. I understood it was my fault for punching him but he just doesn't understand. From what I know, that isn't how one is supposed to treat their mate. I'm just not ready for a mate. Goddess, I'm such a screwup. What is wrong with me?

Zack's eyes returned to his cold blue colour as he looked at me with zero emotion. His grip on me loosened then my wrist limply fell from his grasp. "Go..."

"You know what, just... just don't come near me anymore. I don't want to get hurt." I turned around to walk away from him. Why is it that he was the only person that could make me feel this hurt? I turned back around, continuing to walk while rubbing my sore wrist.

"I wish you could stay longer" Layla was miserable.

"I wish I could too... but I can't." I quietly finished while throwing all my pyjamas into the suitcase.

"Stop making things so sad." Miriam demanded, hopping up from the sofa. "I don't want you to leave crying, you're supposed to be leaving happy and ready to become a strong leader, plus I'm not wearing waterproof mascara today so we are not shedding a single tear." She said, crossing her arms as Layla and I chuckled.

"So what do you plan on doing after a tour of the pack?" Layla wondered,  looking up from folding my t-shirts.

"I don't know, probably train or something." I stated shrugging my shoulders.

"Wow, aren't you an exciting one." Miriam commented sarcastically, then chuckled.

"Yeah, even though he was a total ass-hat to you," Layla winked at me. "I was expecting something more like... Netflix and chill."

"Ugh, You guys are so annoying." I said rolling my eyes.

"What was that?" Miriam asked jokingly. "Pack all your bras and panties? Oh, okay." She grabbed all my panties and bras and threw them over at me which caused them to land all over me.

Just as I was gathering them in my hands, the door swung open and Kyle and Max walked in.

"Oh." Max looked away. I froze in my spot while Kyle didn't even look surprised. He had the biggest, dorkiest grin plastered on his face.
