Chapter 30: Iphone7

Jade's POV

So, I woke up hugging my fluffy pillow... I opened my eyes to see Calum on the couch watching me. My eyes were still blurry but I could still see him smiling. He stood up walking towards my bed and sitting down on my soft mattress. My eyes closed again since I was still sleep. We stayed up late. I felt arms snaked around my waist and pulled me up to sit down. Probably, Calum. I was forced to sit down but I was still tired. I was about to fall when I felt strong arms caught me. "hey, missie... do you know what time is it?" Calum asked me and I opened my eyes slightly. I was laying on his chest. I was trying to get up but I failed. "Jaaaaaade... it's 1pm. Everyone has gone home and you're still asleep." Calum said causing my eyes to open completely awake. I got up from his chest. My eyes were completely wide. "Why didn't you wake me up?" I said almost in a loud tone. "Take a shower and will eat out before we go home." he smiled at me messing up my hair which was already messy... I looked down and rubbed my eyed before speaking. "I wanna stay here, Cal... I wanna be in this house before we head back to New York so I can at least bring back memories. " I said to him and the smile on his face faded. "But you'll be alone." he said in a low tone of voice. "I'm ok." I smiled at him. "Ok, but promise me, you'll come over for Christmas and New Year's Eve." he said to me. "Ok... And one more thing. We gotta get my things at your house." I said reminding him. "Oh yeah. We'll pick it up later 😊😊😊 ... Now go get ready so we could eat something."

I got out of bed after he said that leaving him sitting on my comfy bed. I got a towel and took my clothes and undies with me. I felt the water splashing against my body. I applied shampoo and conditioner before rubbing my body with some liquid soap that. I rinsed my body and hair before drying myself uo with the towel. I moisturized my skin with lotion before slippibg into my underwear and clothes. I wore my high waisted black skinny jeans and a black t-shirt with a 'The New Chic' printed on it which I tucked into my black skinny jeans. I blow dried my long dark brown hair before putting on my accesories. I only applied foundation and a very light pink lipstick and topped it with my strawberry lip balm. I got out of the bathroom and saw that he wasn't on the living room. He's probably still on my room. I put on my white converse before spraying some perfume all over me. I ran up to my room to see Calum laying down on my bed scrolling on his new Iphone7. I took my wallet, my iphone6s, my lipstick and lipbalm and the small container of perfume. and put in on my small white leather sling bag. "So, let's go?" I askes and he just replied with 'huh?' ... I walked over to him and grabbed his new iphone7 ... "So, you got a 7, huh?" I said looking at his phone. "Give it back." he said grabbing it back. I walked to the window and was about to close it when Calum spoke. "Luke, Ash, Michael and I all bought the new iphone7." He spoke and I just looked at him before I asked, "What happened to all your 6s?"

"We sold it online not wanting to waste any money. Why don't you get the 7 too?" he asked. "Nooo.. my 6s is still fine. see?" I said as I pulled my iphone6s excitedly and it slipped out of my hand flying out the window and we're on the second floor. I mentally cursed myself for not closing the window right away and not buying a phone case ... geez

"uh-oh..." was all I could say before looking back to Calum. His expression was shocked. "Yikes...." I said again... "I guess you'll have to buy that new iphone7." He said as he shrugs. He walked towards me and looked through the window. "No... I think it's still fine." I said running down the stairs and heading out the door. I picked up my iphone and its screen was so cracked and shattered... I can feel Calum walking towards me before he shut the door and locking it. "You gotta get that 7." he said to me and I stood uo throwing my broken iphone6s in the bin. "Fine. iphone7 it is." I said as he laughed and we hopped in to his car. "At least I still have its earphones and charger with me. Let's go to the mall. I need to get a new phone." I said to him while he was driving. "Let's eat first. I'm sooooo hungry. We can go get your iphone7 after we eat, ok?" He said to me and I just nodded.

We drove to McDonalds again... One of my favourite fast food restaurants. I ordered 2 pieces of crispy fried chicken, a burger and a large coke while Calum ordered a McSpicy Burger, regular fries and a large coke as well. We ate our meals with Calum teasing me that I eat so much that I don't get fat. Yeah, well it's true. My mom and dad are fit when they were younger so my guess... Genes...

"So, you good?" he asked placing his hands on his thighs. "I think I'm in for some dessert like oreo ice cream cake. The one you bought for my birthday." I said smiling widely and He stared at me in a bad way so I glared at him. "You wanna get fat?" he said scolding me. "I never get fat and you know that. geez.." I said sitting back and crossing my arms on my chest and looked at him in a bad way... He laughed and stood up. "C'mon. Let's get your iphone7." he said helding out his hand in front of me. I stood up not taking his hand making my way to his car. I was waitibg for him to open it since it was lock and he was still giggling. He walked towards me and smile. "What's so funny?!" I said almost yelling. "I told you.. it's fun to see you get mad." He said smiling as he open the car door for me. He frowned when he knew that I fake serious. I got in and I smiled to myself. He drove us to the mall and he parked in at the parking lot. he took his seatbelt off and he was about to get out when I stopped his arm... He looked at me confused. "What's wrong?" He asked confused and I smiled at him widely ... "What?" he said in a rude tone. I frowned fakely. I smiled again before speaking. "I'm sorry about that. I'll buy us some desserts later so don't get mad, ok??" I said pinching his right cheek. and he didn't respond. "ooookay?" I said shaking his head slightly while I held her head. He still didn't respond so I let go of him. "Fine, you can go. But I'm sorry. I was just trying to fake myself. But in fact, I never got mad at you in a serious manner.... Bye." I said opening the car door and he grabbed my wrist yanking me back. "Gotcha." he smiled at me cheesily and I pushed his forehead with my index finger as I smiled.

We went inside the mall to get me a new iphone. I was gonna get an iphone7. I finally bought one. It was black same with Cal's..I swiped my card paying my new phone. so I bought it texting everyone my new number. We were walking towards the big room of gadgets and installation when Calum spoke. "Hey, Missie... don't you think you should install tempered glass screen protector and a case for it?" Cal suggested. "Yeah... great idea. Could you choose one case for me? I would like the color MAROON. any case of iphone7 with a shade of maroon. Go pick one while I could go to get the tempered glass..." I said and I asked the guy to put a temoered glass on the screen of my new iphone7. I waited for it to finish before I payed for it. I saw Calum on the other side looking for my case. I walked over to him. "So, did you find one?" I asked him and he turned to me showing me a white colored case with black polka dots and a big black heart in the middle of it. "It's the cutest case that caught my eye and I can't find a maroon one." he said and gave it to me. I payed for it.

Calum's POV

She went to payed for her new case. I didn't get ang since I already had a tempered glass and a case. Me and the guys bought one. I was looking around while waiting for her and something caught my eyes. I saw a pair of fluffy cellphone chain. A light brown and a white puppy holding a heart together. The light brown puppy was probably the girl and the white puppy was the guy. "Miss, could you wrap this up for me?" I said to the girl and I payed for it. I was thinking of giving the light brown dog to Jade and I'll own the white one. I ran up to Jade and we head back to the car. We sat down and I haven't started the car yet. "Geez... I love my new phone." she said looking at her iphone7. "Hey, Jade. I got you something." I called out to her before she looked at me and said. "Hmm?"

I pulled the paper bag from my pocket. I opened it and took the light brown puppy holding the other half of the heart. I showed it to her. "Wow... it's so cute." she smiled before taking it from me. "And this is mine." I said pulling out the white puupy with the other half of the heart they are holding. We both put it on the holes of our iphone cases. The white puppy suits my phone because my phone was black with a black case with a big red X on it like my bass. and Jade's phone suits the light brown puppy too... "It's beautiful." She mumbled while smiling. "Thanks, Cal...I love it." she said thanking me.... "I'll treat you some dessert later." she added before I drove to our house to get Jade's luggage.
