Chapter 5: Dream On

Jade's POV

I woke to the sound of my alarm Time for school. I took my towel and went to the bathroom to take a bath. I blow dried my haid and head to my dresser. I grabbed a high waisted denim jeans and a black sando with a 'Follow Your Heart' printed on it. I tucked my shirt into my jeans and wore my black and white nike shoes. I grabbed my light blue and pink back pack and my research paper that I worked on last night. I ate a sandwich and drank my milk. I washed my plate and glass and brushed my teeth bedore gargling mouthwash. I applied foundationon my face and strawberry lip balm on my lips. I sprayed some perfume all over me. Before I go, I fed my Max so he wouldn't get hungry.

I grabbed my keys and head out. I locked the door behind me. I saw Calum which made me jump. He was in front of me. "You scared me." I said and he just smiled. "I got you something." He pulled my hand and grabbed my backpack. He put on a strawberry key chain on the zipper of my bag. The strawberry was a heavy metal and it had some sort of diamonds on it. It was cute. "It suites your bag." he smiled at me.

"Umm what's this for?" I asked looking at him. "It's a good luck charm." I laughed at his words. "A what?" I asked back. "don't laugh at it, you dummy. I'm telling you, that strawberry will bring happiness to you. Especially on your birthday." He said calling me dummy again. I punched his abs and he groaned in pain. I walked out of hus sight. "Bye, Cal. See you later." I waved at him.

"Have fun. And be careful!" he yelled back. "I've got this strawberry. Don't worry." I yelled again and finally walking out.

Calum's POV

As soon as she left, we all went into the van again. We started to search for the best hotel we could rent for Jade's birthday. We finally found the perfect spot. It has a wide pull on it and we decided to put at dinner.

Next, we searched for the perfect cake. We kept scrolling untill we found her favourites. These two kinds of cake will absolutely excite her mouth, tongue and tummy. The other one was an Oreo Ice Cream cake, And the other one was a chocolate cake which tasted a lot like nutella. We asked the Hotel to make enough food for everyone...

I decided to invite her parents and my parents including my sister Mali. I also invited One Direction and The Vamps. I also invited the families of Michael, Ashton, Luke, and Rica. I also invited the fans of Jade. She's a very talented, smart, kind and beautiful on her school, so she's popular and had fans. A lot of students look up to her.

This is going to be the best birthday party ever.

It was now 12:30 which was lunch time. And I think she's about to get lunch. I grabbed my keys and went to get a big light blue teddy bear before heading to the University. I was waiting for her to come out. And fans are staring at me from the top until bottom. I was wearing sunglasses so I could see. They were squealing. I was leaning against my car and waited for her. I waved at some fans so I wouldn't look like I'm rude. I heard a lot of them gossiping. 'i bet he's waiting for Jade again.' 'are they dating?' 'he's so hot.'

After hearing a lot of gossips, Jade finally came down. She went closer to me and kicked my leg causing me to groan in pain. I was embarrassed. The fans are watching. I just smiled it away.

Me: what was that for?

Jade: what're you doing here again.

"I just wanted to give this." I opened my car door and pulled out the big ass teddy bear and handed it to her and a lot fans were jealous but also a lot had been cheering and shipping us.

"What's this for?" she asked again. "His name is Walter. I gave it to you 'cause I want someone watch over you while I'm not around." I answered smiling she carried the big ass teddy bear and walked out. "Hey, I wanted to have lunch with you!" I yelled and she hopped inside my car and the fans squealed as I waved at them as hopped in to the car and drove ourselves to a restaurant.

She ordered a burger and a regular coke and I had a pizza. We ate and she was looking at me like she wanyed to kill me.

Me: what?

Jade: I should have just wait for me at home.

Me: I can't wait. And I didn't even have lunch so I decided to take you with me. And besides, Walter wants to see you so badly.

Jade looked at the teddy bear who is sitting beside her. She glared at me.

Me: Just stop complaining.

Jade: oh but I am.

Me: Oh yeah?

Jade: ugh!

I drived her back to the University. She took her bear and put inside her own car before she went to class. I waved at her as she smiled and waved back at me before heading to her class. I drove back to our unit and went inside my room. I lay down and I didn't notice that I fell asleep that fast.

I saw Jade at the terrace watching the stars as she drank her coffee. She sat down on the comfy seat and I sat down next to her. "hey babe." I said as I smiled at her. "hey." she smiled back. She stood up and leaned on the terrace again to watch the City. I followed her and wrap my arms around her waist from behind and I rested my chin on her shoulder.

She looked hot. She was wearing a white over-sized shirt and a light brown shorts and she's standing on her feet.

"It looks so quiet around here at night... and yet so scary." she said staring at the City. I spun her around and rested both of my hands on her waist and pulled her closer to me. "I'm always right here... You don't need to be scared, ok? I'll always hold you in my arms." I said making her face fall back into a smile. She blushed at my words. "You look handsome."she said blushing and smiling at me.

"Why, thank you, Jade. You look beautiful yourself." she smiled and I leaned in. Our faces were just inches away. It wasn't long till I decided to close the gap between us by kissing her sweetly. I smiled through the kiss knowing that I get to do this even though I'm dreaming.

Then I woke up.... I knew it was a dream. I knew it was too good to be true. I was so upset with myself. Why can't I ask her out? I'm a coward. I was so sad... and Ashton came inside my room without even knocking. "Hey mate, Can I borrow your styling wax?" he asked. "Yeah sure. It's on the mirror." I said a little plain. "You ok, Cal. You look like you have a problem." he said as he sat next to me.

Me: I had a dream. Jade and I are together. But it was all just a dream. I'm just a coward to ask her out. I'm so upset with myself, mate.

Ash: You'll get there soon enough. You just have to give it a little more time.

Me: But how?

Ash: You know what. You finally saw her again, I guess you'll never let her go again, right.

Me: huh?

Ash: You have to make a move before someone else does.

Me: how?

Ash: Let's just start with you. Show her that you really cared for her.

Me: I like her so much, Ash....

Ash: I know... So, You just gotta do what you're heart tells you too but also think about what's right and wrong.

Me: umm thanks, mate....
