Chapter 15: Moments

Jade's POV

I woke up and saw Cal passed out on the couch. "Cal?" I called out to him with a sleepy voice... He woke up and came to me quickly. "The doctor said that I could take you home when you wake up." He said to me. "Please do that. I hate hospitals." I said to him and we walked to his car and he drove back to our unit.

"Are you going to be ok? Do you want me to stay with you for a while?" He offered but I shook my head no. "I'm ok. Thanks, anyway. I'll go ahead..." I said to him turning around to open my door and he grabbed my arm, spun me around and gave me a hug. "Don't get sick, ok?" He said before letting go of me. "Umm ok.. goodnight, Cal." I said and entered my home and layed to my bed to get me some rest. He's acting weird. Is he worrried or?... I don't know but It was nice of the guys to help me.

Ugh! I hate this feeling. I've never felt something like this to someone before. I have to get over it. We're just fake couples. And that's that. I drank milk before going to bed.

Calum's POV

I walked in to seethe guys having beer. I grabbed one and drank as well. "So how is she?" Luke asked. "She's better." I asked taking a sip of my beer again. "So, why is your face like that?" Mikey asked and wrapping his arm around my shoulder. "I really like her,.." I said bowing my head and again sipping on my beer.

M: oh, Cally... Just aske her out, man. We'll help you.

A: Let's start tomorrow.

L: Aww... Cal, you gotta ask her out if you really like her.

M: You should do it tomorrow...

TOMORROW:

I showered and changed into a white band t-shirt and black hoodie pairing uo with my black skinny jeans and black and white vans. I sprayed cologne all over me. And I went out of my room to meet the guys. And they wished me good luck before heading out.

I rang the doorbell of Jade's door and she opened it. She let me come in and she sat on her sofa hugging her pillow. "You look horrible." I said to her. Max came jumping at me and I carried him and let him sit on my lap.

J: why're you here?

C: I wanna ask you out.

J: Why? Where are we going?

C: Just come with me.

I waited for her to prepare while I was playing with Max. I love this dog. After a few minutes she was ready. She was on her black skinny jeans, black sleeveless, and her checkered black and red polo. she wore her black keds this time.

C: I wanna take Max with us.

J: What?

C: He needs to get out and have fun.

J: Right. ok.

We made our way to a fried cjicken place and ordered a bucket of chicken and soda. We took it out and I brought it back to the car. I drove her to this place full of trees, green grass. She hopped out of the car and stared at the place. "It's beautiful." She said and smiled at me. " Is it?" I smiled back. Max came running all around the place. We sat on one side of the grass. We ate our chicken while talking...

C: So, do you have a crush on someone yet?

Jade's POV

What did he just ask???

J: No. I don't.

C: c'mon... There must be someone.

J: I told you. I've been numb since the day I was born.

C: Is it Luke?

J: whaaat? are you kidding? he's just a friend.

C: Yeah. but he's charming, isn't he?

J: he is but I don't have any romantic feelings for him at all.

C: then who is it??

J: No one!

C: ooooh... so you're trying to deny it huh?

I got mad and chased after him but I couldn't."You don't like Luke? then how about Ash?"I was still chasing him and he kept teasing. "No!" "Mikey?"he said again. "No!"

I threw a grape at him and now he's trying to chase me too so I ran around the big tall tree but he chased me. He pushed me against the tree and we were both smiling at each other. "So, you don't like any of my band mates?" he asked not removing the smile on his face. I just shook my head no still smiling at him. We smiled at each other for a while before his face became serious. We sat back down to our place and I started eating chicken. I finished one chicken and ate grapes again. It was silent. The wind was blowing and I closed my eyes feeling the cold breeze.

Calum's POV

I turned to look at her and she looked back at me.

C: Jade?

J: why?

C: I gotta ask you something.

J: What is it?

C: It's uh-... geez this is harder than I thought... ( I began to sweat).. I wanna date you.

J:...

C: Look, It's kinda hard for me to admit that I had a crush on you aince we were in high school.

J: Why did you leave without telling? You even had feelings for me...

C: I was scared to ruin our friendship. But now, I just can't let you go again. You might date other guys.

J: so, what're you trying to say?

C: ... please go out with me?

We stared at each other for a moment and Jade looked away.

C: I understand if you don't want to. I just... I just need to tell you how I feel. I couldn't hold it in any longer.

She looked right back at me again.

J: No. It's not that... I mean... I just don't know if I could date a celebrity. And I've never been in a relationshio before since I studied so hard but now...

C: What're you saying?

J: I... I have a crush on you too... It just started. You were trying to do a lot of good things for me. And I.... I kinda hate it.

C: So, is that a 'No'?

J: I'll go out with you, Cal.

C: Really? Seriously?

J: yeah...

C: But why do you hate it if I do good things for you? You know that's how Princes treat their princesses, right?

She played with the grass causing her to bow a little before talking.

J: I hate it in a good way. I just don't feel comfortable when someone doing something for me when I can do it on my own.

I smiled to myself and lifted her chin up. "You have to get use to it. 'Cause I'll be doing it to you everytime." I said he just gave a slight laugh before smiling at me and I smiled back....

Max came ruining the moment by licking our faces.
