Chapter 28: Old Home

Calum's POV

So, here she is...

Michael: what? are you not done ruining our happy mood?

Abigail: So, she's you're new girlfriend?

Michael: yeah.

Abigail came closer to Michael touching his shoulders which made Nicole go to Jade's side.

Abigail: Well, then. Your plan worked. I got jealous. Now, please come back to me.

Rica: umm... excuse me? Michael isn't planning anything to make you jealous. He loves Nicole. So, stop being clingy and walk away.

Someone walked in that we didn't expect to see again... Aleisha McDonald."Aleisha?" asks Rica. "You guys... I missed you!!" We grouped hug except for Luke and that bitchy Abigail. Geez... Aleisha walked towards Luke. "How're you?" asks Aleisha to him and ge blushed. "I'm.. doing fine... you?" He asks back. "I'm good." says Aleisha smiling at him.

"Ok!! Stop with the drama. No acts as good as Abigail Breslin." Abigail said in such a mean voice. "You know what. I'm outta here." Rica said storming off pulling Jade, Nicole and Aleisha away. I looked at the guys and we exchanged looks smiling at each other. We saw the girls got in the van "Now, the distractions are gone... Let's-" Abigail was cut off by my question the guys. "Should we go?" I asked smiling and the all nodded and we ran as fast as we could towards the car before even Abigail catches us. We laughed while we ran and when we reached the car we saw the girls opened the door for us. We all hopped in and drove.

"You guys are sick." Jade said to me smiling and I grabbed her head wrapping my arms around her neck and pulling it to my lap as I laugh and she was trying to get out of my arms. She finally managed to escape. She pushed her hair out of her face and smiled at me and I smiled back. "Umm... I was dragged into this. So, where are we going?" Aleisha asked confused but smiling. "Luke, where are we goin'?" I asked teasing Luke and he widened his eyes at me probably telling to shut up... so I did. "We could go to our old house and spend the night there. No one lives there. My mom is in London and my dad is in Canada. What do you say?" Jade asked smiling. "Cool! Let's do it then." Ashton said. "Yeah... but we don't have any clothes to wear..." Aleisha said. "We can drop at our won houses and get some before going to Jade's old house." says Luke... They are finally talking. So, Luke dropped all pf us one by one to get clothes to wear at Jade's old home. And after that we drove directly to Jade's house.

"It's dusty... what time is it?" Nicole asked Michael. "2:30pm. Let's clean this place up." Michael answered Nicole. Jade looked at me and smiled and I just pushed up her chin smiling back at her. Jade plugged her flash drive into the speaker and played songs. It was really loud that made us cover our ear and Jade immediately turn the volume down. "Huh! it's still works after 4 years." Jade said smiling widely at us.

We cleaned up the whole place... We finished in only one hour since we're 8. We heard a glass that just shattered amd we ran to the kitchen to see Jade broke a glass and her hand was bleeding. "I'm sorry. I was trying to make hot chocolate and some memories came flashing back." She said sadly. I walked to her and carried her so she wouldn't step on the shattered glass. "I'm wearing shoes, Cal." she said to me but I carried her anyway. "I'll just clean this up." Ashton insisted on doing it. "Thanks, dude."  I said to Ashton as I put Jade on the sofa. "Are you ok?" Rica asked Jade worriedly and Jade just nodded giving a smile. She managed to smile... what a fake smile. Rica sat down beside her as I stood up watching her friends caring about her. Rica was treating her wound with the first aid kit and Nicole was tying Jade's hair up in a ponytail so it wouldn't  get in her face. As soon as they finished yhey stood up. "Thanks, guys..." says Jade to both of her friends. "Of course. What are friends for." Nicole said to her rubbing Jade's back before leaving.

I sat down beside her and held the side of her head. and held her hand which had a wound on her palm. "You ok?" I asked seriously and sadly. "Yeah..." she smiled at me widely but it faded away when she noticed that I was wearing a serious+sad expression on my face. "Why are you making that face?" She asked me and I began to rub small circles on her hand with my thumb. "I just realized that you always end up being wounded and scarred." I said. She looked at me confused. "What do you mean?" She asked me. "I mean... The first was when your parents separated, the second one was when no one visits you when it's your birthday, third... they left you, fourth... you have no one to go home to since you get here in sydney, then you were cut by your faucet you were cut by the kidnapper, you were cut by the doctor and nkw you've been cut by a shattered glass... It just hurts me seeing you being hurt physically or emotionally." I said as I ran my fingers through my hair with my right hand and my left was still holding her hand... I turned my face to look at her and she was smiling widely... Why.Is. She. Smiling???

"Why're you smiling?"

She smiled continously... And I just looked at her confused and spoke again.

"I said, Why're you smiling?"

She finally spoke... "Think about it, Hood... You fixed that for me, right?" she smiked as she said those words. What is she talking about? ... And that's when I realized... I brought her parents to her when it was her birthday and we visited this house. I was the one who brought her at the hospital. I was the one who treated her when she was cut by the faucet.... It was me.

I just smiled at her and kissed her fore head and hugged her.

"Aww.. how sweet..." Rica said in awe as we bothe smiled...
