Chapter 48: The Promise

Calum's POV

So I booked Jade and I to a different room but me and the band with Nicole and Rica stayed in the same Hotel. Of course before we came here, we went to get their stuff on the hotel that they stayed last night. When we got back, we layed on the bed for a while, cuddling. I showered since I stink from that crazy concert. I changed in the bathroom, I didn't really want to make Jade uncomfortable.

I walked back to the bed and sat down next to her while she was laying down. "Your turn." I said smiling to her. She nodded before standing up and went to the bathroom. In the meantime, i blow dried may hair. I know it is weird but I can't sleep when my hair is wet. When I finished drying my hair up, she went out wearing a super snuggly pajama sweater and shorts. She wore her fluffy slipper before she blow dried her hair. When she finished blow drying, I didn't notice since I'm half asleep.

Jade's POV

He's pretty tired. I don't wanna disturb him. He looked like an angel while he slept. I sat at his side and gave him a kiss on his forehead. He opened his eyes and my eyes widen. "I thought you were asleep." I said to him. "Stupid." He says and I hit him with the pillow? "What?!" I fought back. He pulled me to the bed so we layed down. I was on top of him. "How could I sleep when I see such an innocent and angelic beautiful face right before my eyes?" He says.

"Stop that, boo. It doesn't look good on you." I said to him and pushing his face away from mine playfully. "What?" He said laughing a little. "Umm ... being romantic? Are you trying ?" I asked him and he shrugged his shoulders. "What's wrong with that?" He said as we both burst into laughter.

"I got you something." He said as he reached for the bed side table. I saw a small blue box. We both layed down face to face. He opened the blue blox revealing a silver diamond ring. I looked at him in shock. "Stop. It's not what it looks like." He said mocking me and giving me a cheezy smile. "Then?... what're you doing?" I said to him confused of what he really want with that ring. He smiled once again. "Look... I haven't been able to have these strong feelings for anyone but you. I may sound pathetic but as much as I said that I haven't been in love, that's because I was unable to find you again in Australia. You were here in New York after. Who knew that we would bump into each other again... If you're asking what's this ring for, I wanna make a promise that when the time comes, when you're ready I'll be the one to give you anothet ring for my proposal for you to be Jade Hood." He said and I can see that he was sincere of what he was saying. He held my hand. "This is my promise to you. So wear this ring, and I promise to be yours and someday another ring follows and that ring is called an engagemet ring... but for now, this ring is a promise." He said as he put the bautiful ring on my ring finger. "I love you, Jade." He said as he kissed my forehead. I hugged him tight. "You're pathetic... it's the sweetest thing ever." I said to him as I smiled. "I love you too, Cal... a lot." I said to him and I feel my eyes getting heavy.

Calum's POV

She wasn't moving an inch so it was my clue that she fell asleep. Even though, she didn't ask me too, I sang her a song which is 'Say Anything' by Good Charlotte. As soon as I finished singing it, I kissed her cheek before cuddling her and driving myself to sleep.

I woke up to the sunlight all over my face so I covered my face with the pillow. I looked to my side and I noticed, Jade wasn't here anymore. And then I heard a loud bang from the door and saw her. "Where have you been?" I said walking to her. "I went outside to get some air. It's so beautiful out there." She said cheering like a 5 year old. "You didn't even wash your face." I said to her touching her cheek and then she slapped my hand away from her face. "Is it really obvious that I didn't wash my face?" She said covering her face cutely. "Uhuh. Now wash up." I said to her as she went straight to the bathroom chuckling to myself. She's so cute. I was messing with her.

After a few minutes she was out of the bathroom with her face wet. "Hey, there wasn't any towel there so-" I cut her off by wiping her face with a face towel. "Thank you." She smiled cutely. "Stop that..." I said staring at her straight in the eyes. "Huh?" She said confused. "I might kiss you..." I said leaning in before pressing our lips together. Our lips moved in perfect sync.

"Oh geez..." we heard someone say and we both pulled away quickly. "What the fuck, Ash? Can't you knock?" I said to Ashton. "Your door is open. No reason to knock." Ash says. "Aww, Jade you look so red." Says Ash again as I looked at my girlfriend and she was blushing which was the cutest thing ever. "Oh c'mon Jade. You can't let that bother you." I said as she ran to our room. "Man, she's cute. Now, what do you want?" I asked Ashton. "Well, do you guys wanna get breakfast? If you're in, you better get ready. We'll be waiting in the other room or in the van." He says walking out. Well, fine... breakfast would be nice.
