i woke up to my alarm and got dressed with some music. music always woke me up. i went to my desk and did my make up. i did my "full face" make up look. quotes around full face because i wasn't allowed to use foundation or concealer and it actually helped. i always had clear skin. i unbraided my hair and it looked pretty cute. it looked wavy. i went to Z's room and knocked on her door gently. she opened to door without saying a word.

"well hello to you too." i said.

"not so loud. it's like 3am." she said.

"umm Z. it's like 6:30am." i said laughing and sitting on her bed.

she crawled back into bed and soon fell asleep. i shrugged left her room and went downstairs. my mom wasn't up yet so i just waited for adym. i got a text from my stalker again.

stalker😔: have fun on you're first day. i hope you and adym have the best time. kisses ~A😘

i felt tears but i quickly held them back because i didn't want to mess up my make up. i got another text. one that i actually wanted.

adym 😻🖕🏼: hey i'm here. you ready?

me: yeah i'm coming.

i headed out and got into his car. i texted my mom and Z telling them i left and locked my phone.

"so how was the rest of you're day yesterday?" he asked.

"oh it was okay. kind of normal. and yours?"

"same here. did you find a dress with maddie?"

"yeah i did actually. it's very pretty and she picked everything out. dress, shoes, hair, make up, everything."

"that's good. i can't wait to see it."

i giggled and looked at him. something in his back seat caught my eye.

"hey what's in the back seat?"

"oh that thing? it's umm my project for one of my uhh classes."

"oh? umm okay?" i said confused.

we pulled up to the school and everyone was staring at us.

"does this usually happen every time you pull up to the school?" i asked him.

"umm no but it's probably because they have never seen you before and i've never pulled up to the school with a girl in my car before."

"ohh. i see."

we got out of the car and walked in the school. adym walked me to the main office.

"hi. i'm the principal mr. smith. you must be Tamryn. and adym. what happened to you over the weekend? showing new kids around is not like you. what's with the change?"

"oh just trying new things mr. smith." adym said laughing.

"here is you're schedule. adym would you be so kind to show ms. coleman to her first class please?"

"way ahead of you mr. smith."

we walked out of the office and went to go meet up with the rest of the group.

"so mr. perfect is a bad boy? no wonder i said yes for the dance." i said laughing.

"hey my bad boy cred needs to stay the way it is so i can't go soft. let me see your schedule."

i gave him my schedule.

"okay you have a period with at least one person in our group except first. you have algebra 2. nerd. second is english with raya. third is history with maddie. fourth is sign language with tayler. fifth is lunch with me joey and tayler. sixth is drivers ed with me and maddie and seventh is chemistry with me. so the last 3 periods you're with me. that's perfect."

we get to the group and Maddie snatched my schedule out of my hand.

"it's okay. i already know who is in my classes. second is with raya. third with maddie. fourth with tayler. fifth with joey tayler and adym. sixth with adym and maddie and seventh with adym. i'm set. although i don't have anyone in first with me."

they looked at what i had first and maddie looked at me with a scared face.

"oh my god. come here. you poor thing." she said.

"what just happened?"

"you have a class with 1 juniors and 2 kate and haley."

"who are they?" i asked.

"they're the 2 most popular girls in our grade. everyone tries to get on their good side. especially the boys in the school."

"i don't need to try. it's not like i want to be friends with them. it's not going to matter whether you were popular in high school later on in life. besides i got you guys and that's all i want." i said with a smile.

"hey adym. how's my baby doing?" a blonde girl came up to adym and held his hand. i got really mad for some reason.

"i need to go to class..." i said and took off.

"wait tam!" i heard adym say but i was already around the corner.

he's been playing me this whole time? why would he do that? i actually thought he had feelings for me. the same feelings i have for him. today was not my day.
