POV- Adym

I texted A. That wasn't Tam.

Me: Okay. Where is she? I want to see her.

A😔😭: That's Tamryn. I know that's her. -A

I put the phone on the mannequin and kept going. A didn't need to know where I was headed this time. I followed a trail for about an hour and 15 minutes and came upon a cabin. Who would live in a cabin in the middle of the woods?

I opened the door. Strangely, it was unlocked. I walked in and saw a trail of blood leading to a door. I open that door and saw the continuing trail going down the stairs. I followed it down to what looked like the basement. I see Tam sitting in the chair with duct tape over her mouth facing a tripod with a phone on it. She looked unconscious and I started tearing up. I ran over to her calling her name. I woke her up.

"What?" she said.

"Tam. It's me." I said untying her feet.

"Duck." she said.

"What?" I asked confused.

She stood up and I ducked as she swung the chair around. The chair broke as it hit Kate on the side knocking her down. The arm rests were still duct taped to Tam's arms and she began fighting with Kate physically.

"Behind you!" Tam screamed still fighting and I ducked flipping a guy onto the ground as a knife flew out his hand.

"Jake!" Kate screamed.

Tam punched her in the stomach then kneed her in the face. Kate fell to the ground and was knocked out. I didn't see it at first but Tam fell to the ground. Jake got ahold of the knife and sliced at Tam's ankle. There was a huge deep cut. Kate became conscious again and took the knife from Jake. She went towards Tam with it but Haley came out of nowhere and tackled Kate to the ground. Haley tried helping but instead made things worse for Tam. The weight of the both of them crushed Tam's leg and broke it. Tam screamed in pain and I looked at Jake. He was trying to get up but I sat on top of him and started wailing on him. My knuckles were bloody and Jake was unconscious. Part two of my job was done. I turned quickly around when Tam screamed again. This time the knife was in her side. I was furious now. I took whatever was close to me and knocked Kate upside the head with it. She was unconscious again.

"Come on, Adym. We need to get her out of here and to a hospital before they wake up or worse." Haley said.

I picked Tam up and tried running upstairs with her. Haley and I walked out the door and she led me where to go. We got to the edge of the woods and there was a bunch of police cars.

"Oh my god! Tam!" Z and Maddie said.

"She needs a doctor. She was stabbed and burned and tased and I think her leg is broken." I tried staying calm.

"Okay. Can you come with me into the ambulance?" a paramedic asked me.

I followed the paramedic into the ambulance and I just started breaking down once I realized what state Tam was in and what happened in general. I heard a flat line in the vehicle. I looked up and started breathing heavily.

"We're losing her. We have to keep her. This boy loves her." one paramedic said.

They started CPR and her heart rate came back on the EKG. I relaxed again a little but I don't think I can ever forget this night. So much happened in so little time. We got to the hospital and they had me wait outside Tam's room once again. I waited anxiously. The doctor came out and looked at me with sorrow on his face.

"She's not dead, but she is in a coma. I'm sorry." he said.

"How long until she's out if it?" I asked teary eyed.

"We're not sure. It could vary from a few hours to a few years. I'm so sorry." the doctor said.

He sounded sympathetic. I just sat there crying. I had no words. I didn't know what I could do in that moment. For Tam. For her family. For myself even. I felt dead inside.
