POV- Adym
(this is a long chapter just a heads up)

I can't believe Tam just went out with that guy. I feel bad for yelling at her though. Maybe I was jealous. I need to apologize to her.

Me: hey can I come over? i want to apologize for the way i acted today.

An hour went by and still no response from her. I decided to just go over there. I just want to talk to her. She doesn't have to ignore me. I drove to her house and knocked on the door. Z opened it and said, "Tam's not up yet. Although she should be."

"I saw her out with this guy named Grayson. They were having lunch at Sally's. When I saw them I got jealous and yelled at her for going out with him. I want to apologize to her for that. Is it okay if I see her?" i explained.

"Yeah sure. I thought she was still in her room but maybe she went out and snuck back in without me hearing her. I'll go get her." Z said as I walked in.

A few minutes later she walked back down. "She's not in her room. Maybe she's still with Grayson. I'll call him." as she did.

I anxiously waited as Z called Grayson on speaker phone so I can hear him.

"Hey. What's up, Z?" a guy said.

"Nothing really. Adym's here looking for Tam and he said he saw you with her at Sally's. Is she still with you?"

"No. She asked me to drop her off at home because she said she would be dead if anyone found out she left without telling anyone."

"Wait what?!" I said concerned.

"Sorry dude. She should be home."

"Did you stay to see if she actually went inside?" I asked.

"No. I thought she would get in by herself. She was at her door when I pulled away."

"Shit. Where could she be?"

"Gray. Who are you talking to?" another guy said over the phone.

"Z and Tam's boyfriend is trying to find out where Tam is. Apparently when I dropped her off at home she never went in."

"Wait. Her boyfriend doesn't know where she is?! If he's looking for her then who followed her?"

"Ethan. What are you talking about?"

"I saw Tam walk into the woods by her house then I saw someone go in after her. They were dressed in all black. I thought maybe it was her boyfriend so I left it alone." Ethan said over the phone.

"What the fuck?! She went into the woods alone?! This can't be good. Why didn't you go after them like I don't dress in all black ever. What the hell are we going to do? I'm going after her. I need to find her." I panicked.

"Calm down Adym. I'm going with you." Z said.

"We'll meet you there." Grayson said and hung up.

I hope she's still there. I'm afraid for her. She's the love of my life. I don't know what I'd do without her. I don't know what I did before I met her. i need her.

we drove to the edge of the woods and saw two sets of footprints. one clearly bigger than the other. i went in following the prints. i couldn't wait for the other two to get there. i followed them and stopped when i found Tam's phone. it looked like there was a struggle. i picked up her phone and looked at the screen.

a😔😭: i will find you. you can't run or hide from me. -A

a😔😭: i can see you. i have found you. i've got you now. -A😘

i looked at all the texts from this blocked number and i started crying loudly. Z and the other guys came running towards me.

"what is it A?" Z said.

"don't fucking call me that." i said still crying.

she took the phone from me and looked at it. i looked up at her as i was on the ground and she was tearing up too.

"Tam was being tortured by this person and she never said anything because if she did whoever she told would lose their life. instead she sacrificed her own life to save ours." Z explained to the guys.

"there was a struggle here then something was dragged to the creek over there. whoever this is knows what to do. they brought her to the creek so we wouldn't know which way they went." i said after collecting myself.

we walked down to the creek. i looked one way then the other.

"they went this way." i was confident but tearing up a little.

"how do you know?" ethan said.

"there's blood right there and going down the creek that way." i said voice cracking and pointing to the ground.

"hey i called 911 and they said stay put. the police are on their way." Z said.

"there's no way i'm staying put while my girlfriend is somewhere probably in danger."

"well there's no way i'm letting you go alone. since i'm the one who called the cops i should stay put." Z said.

"ill stay with you and wait for the cops to show up." Ethan volunteered.

"ill go with you adym." Grayson said turing to me.

"i want the phone." i said to Z.

"i kinda texted the number." she said.

"what the hell Z? if this person is as smart as to walk in the creek to cover their steps then they're definitely smart enough to have a tracker in her phone. for all we know the person could know we have the phone and know where we are at this moment." i explained.

"okay just go find her and be careful. the group already knows."

me and Grayson walked down the creek.

"hey man. i'm sorry. i should've been with her. it's all my fault that she's missing." Grayson broke the silence.

"it's okay dude. i just hope she's okay and not hurt at all." i said. i just want to find her.

"i can tell you really love her just by the way you were on the ground and you didn't care what happened to you as long as she's safe."

Tam's phone buzzed with a video from her stalker. i looked at it.

"no. please no. please don't hurt my friends. don't hurt adym. do whatever you want to me but don't hurt adym. i love him too much to see him hurt....AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" it was a recording of Tam. she was being tortured by a figure. "You have 3 hours to find the next clue or she gets these scars next." a distorted voice said while holding up a knife to her neck. "anything you want to add little miss perfect?"

"adym if you're watching this please stay strong and do what they say. i'm scared and i miss you. i love yo-" she was slapped by the figure. "just OBAY them." the video shut off.

the phone buzzed again but this time it was directions.

"we're following this?" Grayson asked.

"yeah. we are. i don't want Tam to have anymore scars she already has taser marks and bruises." i said as i started walking again. "i'm going to find my girlfriend if it's the last thing i do."
