Triggered

I know this isn't a band related thing, but since no one reads my conversations and this is probably my most informal book, I have a question for you guys.

Does it bother anyone else when people use the word "triggered" as a joke? As in, someone will get frustrated and someone else will comment, "Oh, he's triggered."

I don't know if it's just me, but I find people taking the word as a joke very offensive. As a person who has triggers and has to watch out for/avoid them, I know how serious triggers can actually be.

Does this upset anyone else, or am I just overreacting? Post your opinion in the comments.
