"Go!" Zarc's monster aimed for Ray, which she quickly countered with the action spell Bi-Attack. Her monster gained double its attack points. Zarc and Ray continued battling: Academia was becoming a wasteland. Not that it mattered, there was going to be a "New World." in no time after Arc V was completely powered up. 

*She was watching. This duel was crushing. She had to do something. The world couldn't end. Her friends couldn't go. Everyone was going to be uncarded as soon as the New World was created. But, why? The Professor wanted his daughter back to fight against Zarc, why did he need to create a New World? Her hands and wrist were glowing. She had to do something now. But, she'd lose everything. Herself. This may kill her. But if the boys and girls could be brought back without harm and Zarc could return to the nice person he once was. Ray would be here. The Professor could be happy. The only sacrifice was herself.* 

Reiji and Reira watched as Ray's victory was assured- as well as the words end. No matter what the outcome of their duel was, the worlds end was always assured thanks to Arc V. 

"Stop!" A voice called. Reiji and Reira looked at the source. The person was tall- a bit smaller than Reiji. The person was clearly female. Her hair fell to half way down her back. And...no way. She had the same facial features as the bracelet Girls. In fact, she had a bracelet around her wrist with the four jewels as well as four others. One- Beryl next to Yuzu's pink, two- Light Amethyst, next to Serena's which is a slightly darker purple. The third is danburite, next to Rin's green and finally, one is Obsidian, next to Ruri's citrine jewel. The only facial feature the girl didn't have in common with the bracelet girls was the bangs and fringe they had. Her fringe was swept to the side, curving and tucked into her ear. Her bangs came from her ears, kind of like Yuya. The Akaba's and Zarc remained shocked. 

"Tethys!" Ray was shocked. Ruri was reacting from one of the bracelets around her wrist. 

"Ruri! I'm sorry, but the worlds going to be destroyed and everyone's losing people. Yes, the people who were carded are coming back in the New World but what about the Counterparts? I'm not the only one who wants them back." 

"What do you intend to do?" The Professor asked. Tethys' hands began to glow as did her bracelet as well as the Four Dragons and Bracelets. 

'Ah, the jewels are the ones of the girls' bracelets and the boys' dragons!" Reiji thought. 

"What's happening?!" Zarc asked. Then, he held his head in pain, seeing his past: horrified by it. What had he done? Because the crowd had cheered when he'd hurt that person. He was awful. He'd loved Ray. Then, destroyed her. What had he become? 

Tethys smiled, knowing things were going to go OK. Arc V started to release all of the cards and shine them upon the places they'd been taken from. The Xyz Dimension shone as all of its souls came back. Tethys' hands shone brighter and released a light barrier between Zarc and Ray. Both went flying back, and Ray's bracelets started to glow along with the Dragons. A light emitted from them and the silhouettes of the four Bracelet Girls shone in front of Ray and the silhouettes of the boys shone in front of Zarc. He looked shocked and Ray just smiled. Tethys beamed as she started to glow. Yuzu's silhouette formed first, followed shortly by Yuya. Yuya and Yuzu looked at Tethys, worriedly. Next to be resurrected was Ruri. 

"Tethys! Don't, please! What about the Resistance? What about Sayaka and Allen and..and Shun?! And Yûto? What will they say when they found out you gave your life?!" Ruri cried as her bracelet- as well as Yuzu's- started glowing with Tethys'. Yuto appeared next to Yuya as Ray glowed, resurrecting  Rin, who looked confused, happy and scared, looked up, tears brimming in her eyes. Tethys had looked after her and Yugo when they were kids in the orphanage. Yugo appeared seconds later, in front of Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, spun around and spotted Rin- the real Rin. 

"Rin!" He ran to her and she embraced him, but when he saw she was crying tears of sadness, he looked up and saw where she was looking; directly at a shimmering crystal-like Tethys. Yugo choked back a cry. Serena appeared and was as sad as the others. Tethys had been the nicest Lancer to her. She couldn't go. Serena wanted to move to the Standard Dimension, sure Yuzu could help her, but Tethys had lived in three Dimensions, she'd be the biggest help. Yûri appeared next to Starve Venom and Serena. They looked at each other and nodded. Zarc's guilt had affected Yûri. He felt guilty, but Serena could tell and held his hand whispering "It'sOK." All the bracelets and Dragons glowed and Tethys shone with them. 

"I'm sorry, Ruri, Rin, Serena, Yuzu. But it's the only way." Even Zarc had tears in his eyes. Tethys shone and apologised to her friends. 

"Ruri, Yûto, please, look after Shun." Ruri smirked. 

"Of course." Tethys' bracelet shone and she disappeared. All of the Counterparts cried. The door swung open about 10 minutes later revealing Asuka, Yusho, Kaito, Edo and Shun. 

"Brother!" Ruri cried, holding her older brother close. Their first real hug for a long time. Yûto joined. Ruri pulled away from her brother and sighed. 

"Shun?" 

"Yeah, Ruri?" Ruri and Yûto exchanged concerned looks. 

"Tethys is gone." Shun laughed. 

"No she's not, she's here." Indeed, Tethys walked through the door.

"What?!" All the Counterparts shrieked. 

"Shun was duelling Obelisk Force just now and he summoned Raidraptor- Revolution Falcon. I just appeared. It's confusing to me too." All the Counterparts hugged her. Things were going to be normal again, Tethys swore it.
