After two weeks of being at home, I'm finally settled into my room. I have more clothes and shoes after going shopping and life couldn't be better. Bandit has given me three more art lessons since the first one, and she says I'm improving dramatically.

I was walking past Cherry's room, when I heard an acoustic guitar being played from inside. I stopped. I put my ear up to the door and listened. Then she started singing. Cherry's voice was beautiful. I wanted to walk in there and tell her how amazing she was, but I didn't want to stop listening.

"What are you doing?" A voice from behind asked, making me jump.

I turned around. It was Miles. "Oh, I, uh, was listening to Cherry sing," I said, stepping away from the door so Cherry wouldn't hear me.

"Oh, she does that all the time. Why do you find it so interesting?" He asked.

"Maybe because she has a beautiful voice," I said.

"It gets annoying after a while," Miles said and rolled his eyes. He continued to walk down the hallway. He passed me and I turned toward the door again.

I heard Cherry finish the song and I opened the door. She jumped and said,"God, you scared me."

"Sorry. Your singing and playing is beautiful," I said.

She blushed a little. "You really think so?" She asked. I nodded.

"Do you play any instruments?" She asked.

"I know ukulele," I said.

"Do you sing?" Cherry asked, taking her guitar off and setting it aside.

"Well, I do in the shower but I've never sung in front of a person before," I said.

"Go on, sing for me. I want to hear you," She said.

"Um, I don't know. I mean, what if I'm horrible," I said.

"I won't laugh," She said. She sat on the bottom bunk of her bed and watched me eagerly.

"Okay," I sighed. I walked out of the room and heard Cherry yelling for me to come back. I walked into my room and grabbed my ukulele. I walked back into her room and closed the door. I sat down on the bed, across from her. Without another word, I began to strum.

Then I sang. I sang a full song and I didn't even realize I had closed my eyes until I opened them. I saw Cherry beaming at me and I tilted my head, confused.

"Lily. That was beautiful!" Cherry exclaimed.

"You really think so?" I asked happily. She nodded with the biggest grin on her face. My smiled stretched from ear to ear.

Cherry went in for a hug, knocking me over backwards. We giggled and I pushed her off of me, causing her to fall over on the floor. I laughed.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Cherry laughed.

I got off of the bed and helped my twin sister up off the floor. She adjusted her shirt and we walked out of her bedroom.

"So, what do you wanna do?" Cherry asked.

I shrugged. "Isn't there a ping pong table in the basement?" I asked.

"Yeah. Do you want to play?" She asked, smiling a little.

"Yeah because I'm going to kick your ass at it!" I said and ran down the stairs, Cherry following behind.

I beat her to the basement door. I opened it and flipped on the light. We walked down the stairs and grabbed the paddles.

"Okay, you made it to the basement first so you serve," Cherry said.

"Okay," I said and I picked up the ball.

After playing a few rounds of ping pong, we decided to quit for the night. Although, we have no idea who won and who lost because we kept forgetting the score. We just gave up and decided to just hit the ball back and forth.

Soon dinner was ready and Cherry and I went to go sit with the rest of the family and eat. Cherry and I sat beside each other. We ended up having a huge debate about which Star Wars movie is the best and why, so it was very fun. My whole family loves the same things I do and I fit right in. I love it.

After dinner, I took a shower and got ready for bed. I had dried my hair and out comfy pajamas on and I had the covers on me. My lamp was turned on so I could read my book. I ended up reading the book for a few hours, when I realized how tired my eyes were.

I put my bookmark in my book and yawned. Just before I could turn my lamp out and go to sleep, I heard a strange noise in my closet.

I took my hand away from the lamp and stared at the closet door with an eyebrow raised. I slowly got out of bed and grabbed a flashlight off of my desk. I opened my closet door and shined it directly on Cherry, who was just sitting in my closet.

"What are you doing in here?" I asked.

"Waiting for you," She whispered.

"How long have you been here?" I asked.

"A few minutes, why?" She asked.

I turned around and walked over to my bed. I grabbed a couple of pillows for us to sit on. I threw one at her.

"What's this for?" She asked.

"For your butt," I said. I threw my pillow down and sat on it, across from her. She got the hint, and stood up and did the same.

"What do you want?" I asked, letting out another yawn.

"I don't know, let's just talk," Cherry said.

"About what?" I asked.

"Life," She said.

We ended up talking about anything and everything for hours. I mean, hours. By the time we decided to go to bed, I saw the sun rising outside of my window. I sighed and made my way to bed, hoping to get at least a few hours of sleep.
