I knew this was beyond horrible when the dogs were not outside or running out to me, barking so loud China could hear them. Not that all the blood wasn't enough of a sign. I walk into the house and look to my left to see my Aunt's whole room covered in blood with her body and her husbands body on the bed in a pool of their blood, mixing together. With stab marks all over there body and heads missing. I pull my coat over my mouth and nose and put my hand over that to keep the sobs quiet and the smell of blood out. I turn away from there bodies and head up the steps slowly, and shakily to where I almost fell in blood. When I get into the hallway there was blood covering everything! The floor, walls, ceiling, all over the drier, everywhere! I don't well pay attention and trip over something and fall into the blood. I shakily get up, with blood covering me now and look to see what I tripped over. I see my Aunt's dogs, Mutt and Missy's bodies in the hallway without their heads too. The tears are rolling freely down my face as I continue into the living room. When I'm halfway down the hallway I see a pair of feet and a hand. I slow down and slowly peak in the living room to find my sisters and moms bodies in a pile in the middle of the living room. They were missing some body parts and their heads. There was chunks of skin taken out of their bodies.

At this I don't hold it in anymore, I scream the loudest I have ever screamed before letting my sobs go freely and mix into my screams. When I get done with the scream I look at the walls and cieling to find them in the same condition as the hallway with splatter marks and blood streaks in the kitchen. The last thing I look at is the window. When I see it, I stop breathing, I became so dizzy I had to hold onto the bookcase to keep myself up. There on the window written in blood is 'We are coming for you, Nevaeh.' Under it, lining the top of the couches are the heads and missing body parts of everyone in the house. With their eyes open and blood all over them.

I heard running come up the stairs and look to see my neighbor run into the house, looking green and scared. He came up to me put his hand over my eyes and lead me outside where his wife was on the phone with the police. In the distance you can hear the faint noise of sirens. His wife ran up to me, cupping my cheeks asking me, "are you OK? Nevaeh are you OK!? What happened? Do you know who did this?" All in a frantic rush.

I looked at her, in my shivering state and tears still streaming down my face, I told her with no emotion in my voice, "No I am not OK. My family has been murdered of course I am not OK."

By this time there are 4 police cars and 3 ambulances rushing into my driveway and stopping in the middle of the road, guns at the ready and gurneys coming out. The police man came up to us and asked, "Is there anyone in the house that's armed and dangerous." I could feel his eyes on me so I just shake my head no.

The medics came up to me and took me to the ambulance. Although I had no marks on me they insisted I still get checked out. It didn't take to long before they had the bodies in black bags on gurneys. I sat there, feeling lifeless, knowing that there was little to no places for me to go and that my family had been murdered, all except my father. It wasn't long after that Ethan came to take my statement. I honestly did not want to replay what I had saw so I had just kept it as short and simple as I could, "I walked home from the bus stop and found the side door open with bloody and prints and blood trails. Auntie and Tom were in there room, the dogs in the hallway and my sisters and mom in the living room with the note in blood on the window." I was looking at the ground the whole time I talked. I knew he felt like sh*t knowing he didn't protect my family. Even though this probably happened while we were at school. But how come they hadn't came here right after they told me the news?

"I know that was hard Nevaeh but thank you and I swear we will find this guy. Wait here and I'll bring you down to the station while we figure out where you are going to stay," was Ethan's reply. When I looked up he had the exact expression I knew he would have on his face, guilt, anger, sadness and pity. After 5 minutes Ethan came back, by that time I was waiting outside of the ambulance in a new pair of clothes I asked one of the nurses to get me. It consisted of my fuzzy blue pajama pants with penguins, the only pair of pj's I owned and a red tank top with the same gray sweater from earlier that haden't gotten any blood on it. Along with my blue and zebra striped blanket. All I wanted was to go to bed after this long day although I am afraid for what my dream will turn out to be I needed sleep. He led me to his car and helped me in the back of it. It took awhile to get to the station since it wasn't in the town my house is in and once we got there I sat in a chair Ethan said that I could and tried my best to calm down my raging thoughts and get some well needed sleep.
