Chapter 10 - Lessons

    I flung up and fell off the bed, startled by the alarm clock next to my head. When was that clock an alarm! I have about 30 minutes to get ready, which is more than enough. I put on the sports bra and shorts easy enough but they were very form fitting. The bra squished my chest making them look bigger and the shorts were like a second skin. I looked around the room for some socks but had a hard time finding some. I looked in the bag and found a pair of black ankle socks. So I put those and the shoes on then walked to the bathroom. I don't know if we are supposed to have our hair up or down so I just brushed it. Slipped a rubber band onto my wrist before going back to my room and getting my bag. I had five minutes left, would've had more if I knew there was a pair of socks in the bag. I headed out to the front door, Linda and Rene were already there. The exact clothes, bag and looks like they didn't know what to do either since there hair was down and rubber bands were on their wrists.

    When I reached them Artemis walked out of the hallway leading to his office with his keys in hands. When he saw us his eyes roamed over us, a smirk slipping onto his face while he looked. When he looked up his eyes made contact with mine, "I should start making you girls dress up like that all the time." I looked at Linda and Rene then back at Artemis with a dull look.

    His smirk grew and then he headed out the door to his black hummer. Nice choice. When we got the sexy jeep we froze. I looked at Linda and Rene and knew they didn't wanna sit up front with him. When both of them looked at me I nodded my head then went to the front while they got in the back. Artemis started the jeep and when the last seat belt clicked we were off.

    We went down road after road covered by trees. We haven't passed any houses either. I think Artemis is doing it on purpose, I don't know why though. 15 minutes after we left the mansion I can finally see a part where there are no trees. The closer we get the more that part gets bigger. There's no building yet though so I think it probably goes back a ways. When the building and most of the yard is in view the more luxurious it looks. Although it looks pretty normal you can tell it's pretty up to date and has money. There's parking spaces around the front and left side of the school, with a long cement drive going to the road. Beside the left parking lot is  a baseball field. Behind that is a huge stadium sized football field and I think there is some more parking space behind the building. The building is made of multiple shade of brown brick and big red letters on the front of the building saying Trance High School It was 2 stories tall with a shorter part near the far right of the building. I'm gonna guess that it's the gymnasium considering that's how it looked like at my old school. Except the part with the classes was shorter than the gym. There are more windows than I expected and four doors on the left side and front. and a set of two doors down where the gym is.

    When Artemis pulled up to the doors by the gym he stopped. When we were about to get out he locked the doors. "Girls remember what I said, do what you're told, don't be loud and stay out of the others way. When you walk in there will be a normal gym. There are going to be three doors to your right. The first is the girls locker room, the boys and then the last one will say humans. That'll be where you will put your stuff and wait until the dance teacher comes to get you. Then follow her instructions from there. They can do whatever they want to you when you are in there care so I'd behave if I were you. If you try to run off, I will know and you'll get one hell of a punishment when you get back to the house. Understand?" No one spoke, I nodded and I think the rest of the girls nodded since he unlocked the doors and we got out. I just barely managed to shut my door before he zoomed away.

    Me and the girls stood there for a second wondering and worrying about all of this. Rene and I walked to Linda and I could tell they were becoming self conscious. Not to be harsh but they have nothing to be conscious about. I have way more scars and marks to cover than them. I am slightly self conscious but I don't care what these vampires think of me.
