I'm currently walking in a catwalk fashion show of the wedding gowns that I am endorsing in Avalon Group of companies. I am really dead tired and wanted to lay down on my bed and get even just a nap, but I need to finish the show. I smiled in every elegant pose I could get, at every flashes of the camera.
I fitted 5 elegant wedding gowns and after an hour, the show was ended by crowd applauses and some of the standing ovations from the biggest investors of the said company. After the show, pinalibutan na ako ng mga reporters.
"Miss Amber, congratulations .It is a big success, do you have another project?"
"Miss Amber, when will you see yourself wearing the same elegant wedding gowns for your own wedding"
"Do you have plans in settling down Miss Amber"
Iilan lang yan sa mga tanong sakin ng mga makukulit na reporters. I really wanted to answer them but I'm too tired to do so, kaya si Mommy Moira na lang ang sumagot sa kanila, She's my manager.
"I'm really sorry guys, but Amber really need to take a rest now. We will just set a presscon next week to answer all your querries, but now we really have to go"
Narinig kong pagpapaliwanag ni Mommy Moira bago ako hilahin ng kaibigan at co-model kong si Dani.
"Are you alright sis? You looked so pale that any moment soon, you're going to collapse" Dani mumbled
"Yeah ofcourse, I'm okay sissy, just kind of tired, I really want to rest right now. I really have to go now, see you tomorrow" I told Dani before kissing her goodbye and went to carpark to get in my car.
Papasok na ako ng sasakyan ng magsalita ulit si Dani.
"Are you sure you can drive? I can drop you home, ipakuha mo na lang sa driver yung car mo dito bukas" Dani suggested.
But I insisted.
"Yeah ofcourse, Ingat ka pauwi" sinabi ko na lamang bago tuluyang pumasok sa kotse ko at pinaandar ito.
On my way home papunta ng condo kung saan ako nag sti-stay independently, my phone rung. Kinapa ko yung phone ko and saw my mom's calling, it's almost midnight, why is she calling at this hour. I hurriedly answered the phone.
"Hey mom, what's wrong ?" I asked her the moment I picked it up.
"Hello sweetie, I missed you" she answered on the other line.
I can feel her voice cracking as she talked on the other line. She really misses me. I was quiet busy the past few months because of work and school. It's been three months since the last time I was able to visit them.
"Oh I missed you too Mom, Im going to visit there at the mansion tomorrow, I can't talk long, I'm driving now" I informed her
"Okay sweetie, we have something to tell you that's why I called. Take care baby please, drive safely, I love you" Mom said before she hang up.
Inilapag ko na yung telepono ko and concentrated on driving. Mga apatnapung limang minuto din ang ibiniyahe ko bago ako nakarating ng condo. Sobrang pagod na pagod ako kaya medyo nagmamadali na rin akong pumasok sa lobby at binati ako ng mga gwardiyang naka destino ng gabing iyon.I greeted them back.
Sumakay na ako ng elevator, nang marating ko ang pinto ng condo ko, bahagya pa akong nagulat dahil bukas ito, pero hindi ko na ito pinansin dahil sa pagod, I really wanted to sleep badly.I opened the door, and hurriedly take off my cardigan and went to bed, a moment later, I was drifted to sleep.
