⑥ Chapter ⑥

Yui's P.O.V.

"Oh.. why thank you b-bertl." My cheeks fired up and soon enough I felt myself turning as red as my hair.

"Come in!" I opened the door wider and Bertl and Reiner said their goodbyes. I noticed Reiner wink as soon as I shut the door. What a pervert.

"Soooooo, make yourself at home! Sorry it's messy, this thing was kind of last minute. If you need anything, just let me know!" I smiled at him and sat on the couch. I looked at the tall boy puzzled, and patted the space next to me. A gentle blush spread across his face as he walked towards me. I gotta admit, he looked great. Yeah sure he was tall.. and kinda weird and quiet but he's adorable. His eyes made me forget what was around me. Something I've never seen or felt before.

"Sorry about all this! Reiner is... a hassle. He's always saying how I need to get out more and make more friends." Mm?

"No! Don't be sorry. My brother is the same way. Always trying to tell me what to do. Silly boys." I said, earning a laugh from him.

"Hehey! You laughed! You have a cute laugh, ya know. Well anyways, I have a shit load of stuff we can do! I got a selection of very scary movies and dumb board games. We could do both?" He nodded and I ran to the closet in the hallway, grabbing all the board games I have and finding every movie possible. Don't worry Reiner. I'll give Bertl a great birthday.

Bertl's P.O.V.

Yui has been treating me as if I knew her forever, and that is the greatest feeling I have felt in a long time. The way her hair flows, and smells reminds me of a peaceful place. She smiles at everything, even though I can see she's hurting inside. Don't worry, dear. I'm here.

"..four, five! Pay up Bertloser!"

"This game is rigged!" I gave her the monopoly money and saw her smirk.... I think I love....

"Oh! I almost forgot! I have something for you!" Swiftly enough, she got off the couch and grabbed a box that was wrapped.

"Happy Birthday!" How did she know? I didn't question it, nor did I refuse the present. I gladly tore off the red paper and felt her eyes on my movements.

Cupcakes. Chocolate cupcakes. My favorite?

"Well do you like it?" Her big purple eyes boring into my emerald ones. I smile and kiss her forehead. Bold move.

"I love it, thank you, Yui."

"N-no problem." Once pale cheeks now dusted with rosy tint, she was blushing!

10:30 P.M.

Our date is almost over, sadly. Yui and I ended up chowing down on the cupcakes and watching movies. We pulled it off after all this time.

A small warm feeling crawled across my shoulder. She's laying on it. Usually I would break in a sweat and get the jitters, but not this time. I've grown to love her presence in a matter of hours. I smile and gently run my fingers through her silky red hair and caress her cheek. She looked up at me and smiled, and made me melt inside. I couldn't help myself, her lips looked soft, pink. The way her hand fit in mine made it all the better.

It's now or never.

I leaned down and pressed my lips against hers. She didn't hesitate but rather went along with it. I've never kissed anyone before, so it was new, but so familiar. It wasn't rough, or rushed, but rather passionate and... perfect.

Yui's P.O.V.

He kissed me. I didn't fight back. I couldn't. Not when my heart says to go along with it. I run my fingers through his dark hair and pull away, smiling. I peck his lips one more time and rest my head once again on his shoulder.

I feel myself drifting asleep. My body shifts closer to Bertholdt and his arm wraps around me in a warm lovely embrace. He plants a kiss in my fire red hair.

Happy birthday, you colossal cutie.

wow I hope you guys liked it!!!!! this will be the last chapter I create in 2013, that's crayyyyy. Well happy new years from me and yui!!! I won't update for maybe a couple days or a week. I'm crazy busy with looking at colleges and planning stuff bc I graduate next year basically since its already 2014?? 2015 HERE I COME I WILL BUY U ALL TICKETS TO JAPAN AND WE'LL GO TOGETHER!!
