After almost dying together, K2 and Megan were back to being friends again. (Although their arguments were completely childish and they literally fight over nothing.)
"Remember that one time you shit yourself at the fair?" K2 laughed as Megan pulled a leech off her arm.
"I didn't shit myself." Megan said sourly,
"Remember that one time you failed your government test."
"Oh wow good one, my feelings are so hurt." K2 smiled, looking out into the jungle.
"Shut up!"
Just as Megan pulled the last leech off of K2 a crunching noise was heard in the distance.
"Maybe we should head back to the beach." Megan stood up.
"Yeah..." The girls looked out in the jungle, expecting something to jump out and kill them. (But nothing did)
After Faith had her seizure everyone was on alert, ready to help her any needs. Taylor got up from where she was and walked over to the edge of the woods gathering some sticks and leaves. She walked a little ways from Faith and make a circle out of rocks and place the sticks and leaves inside.
"Taylor what are you doing?" Austin asked.
"What does it look like?" She replied pulling out a mirror. After a couple minutes of doing that smoke came up from the pit, but no fire.
"Well?" Taylor called out to them,
"Aren't you going to help me?"
"The Krusty Krab Pizza is the pizza for you and me..." Megan and K2 sang as they walked down the beach. (You would think they would be a little quieter after the whole dinosaur thing)
"Jolene, Jolene, Jolene-"
Megan was interrupted by K2 hitting her.
"Look!" K2 pointed ahead to see something in the distance,
"Come on!" K2 started to run pulling Megan along behind her.
"I think we should walk... You know to save energy!" Megan called out, but K2 didn't stop running. (Well she did a couple yards later but only because she was tired.) Megan caught up to K2 and looked at what the object was. Spoiler alert it was a plane.
"Is that a fucking plane?" Megan said (breathing very heavily) as she stood beside K2.
"It looks like it." K2 walked up to the door and looked inside.
"It has no gas!" She called out.
"What does NRI6020 mean?" Megan asked, looking at the wing.
"I don't know. Maybe it's the name." K2 shrugged.
"I think we should stay the night here. It's safe and I don't think we're going to find anything better."
The two girls climbed inside the cramped plane and looked out the window into the jungle.
"In the jungle the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight..." Megan started to sing.
"It couldn't have been a dinosaur because they are extinct!" Fatima said, siding with Jake, Julia and Samantha.
"That didn't sound like any animal I know!" Hannah exclaimed.
"Oh, so you know every animal in the world." Samantha scoffed.
"How can you explain the eye? Huh?" Jackson said.
"Large animal!" Jake shouted.
A growling noise was heard behind them in the woods and they all looked into the dim forest. A crunching noise was heard to the right of the plane and the band kids (+ Hannah and Fatima) scooted closer together.
A screech came from the bushes by the opening of where the plane split in half and a huge feathered dinosaur jumped out.
"GET INSIDE!" Jackson yelled running into the cockpit. Hannah and Jake were the last ones in line to safety when suddenly Jake was pulled backwards. Hannah turned around to help him but saw the dinosaur's claws ripping into his chest, then it ripped his head off and swallowed it whole.
"OH MY GOD IT JUST ATE JAKE'S FACE OFF!" Hannah screamed shutting the cockpit door.
"Shhh! Maybe it will forget about us." Cara locked the door and crouched down bumping into something. She spun around to see she was sitting on the pilots head. Cara covered her mouth with her hand and scooted away from the head. She looked around and saw that his body was no where to be found.
"Um guys?" Cara asked,
"We've got the head... But where's his body?" She motioned towards the empty (but bloody) pilot seat. Just then the dinosaurs that were outside slammed on the door, giving them bigger problems to worry about.
Taylor held her phone over the fire, careful not to get burnt. When she decided it was hot enough she moved it over to Faith,
"Sorry." She said as she pushed the hot metal over Faith's wounds, searing them shut.
