The first night is always the longest night is the longest. Especially with Faith literally dying, a dinosaur stalking the band kids (+Hannah and Fatima), and after nearly dying nobody really slept well anywhere. (Well, except K2 and Tommy because K2 can sleep anywhere and Tommy literally doesn't care if Faith lives or dies.)
"Do you think it's gone?" Julia asked.
A banging on the door answered her question. Julia leaned over and rested her head on Samantha, shutting her eyes for just a second. When she opened them again she saw that everyone was asleep, except for Samantha who was staring at the door.
"You should try to sleep, I don't think it will get through the door." Julia whispered to Samantha.
"Jake's dead." Samantha said, not looking away from the door.
"I know." Julia felt Samantha lay her head on her shoulder and scoot around to get comfortable. Julia wrapped her arms around Samantha and the two fell asleep together.
Cara awoke to a crunching noise coming from above her. She blinked open her eyes to see the dinosaur (she named him Frances) walking on the windshield of the plane. It scraped its claws on the windshield, creating a screeching sound, then a tiny crack. The dinosaur jumped on the glass and the crack got bigger, and bigger.
"Hey!" Cara called out waking everyone else up,
"It's breaking the glass!" She backed away from the front.
"What do we do?" Julia asked.
"Someone has to distract it." Samantha says dryly.
Everyone was quiet for a second.
"Hannah... You do track..." Julia said.
"I'm not going! Why don't you go, you already want to die!"
Jackson fell back into a shelf as the dinosaur cracked the glass. He looked behind him to an opening in the plane containing a secret compartment. He opened and found a rifle with a box a bullets beside it.
"Guys..." He said breathlessly holding out the gun.
"Well, What are you waiting for! Shoot it! Shoot it!" Hannah yelled.
Jackson aimed the gun at the glass and pulled the trigger. There was a quiet clicking noise and everyone looked at the gun.
"It isn't loaded." Jackson said, embarrassed.
"Load it!" Hannah yelled.
"Well, with that attitude I say we go back to the plan where you're distracting it." Jackson pulled a sassy black woman pose.
"Jackson!" Everyone yelled. (relatable)
Jackson grabbed some bullets from the box and put them where he thought they should go. He aimed the gun again and pulled the trigger, still nothing happened. He hit the side of the gun with his hand and then gun shot off, missing the dinosaur and shot through the ceiling. The dinosaur jumped again almost breaking the glass as Jackson loaded the gun again.
He aimed the gun again, but put it down.
"If I do this it will break the glass." He looked at everyone else.
"JUST SHOOT THE THING!" Julia yelled.
Jackson quickly took aim and fired the gun. Everyone's ears rang loudly and they all ducked preparing for the glass to break on them. But to their disappointment the bullet lodged itself in the glass.
"Shit, shit, shit, shit!" Jackson said to himself as he loaded the gun again. As he took aim the dinosaur broke through the glass and charged at Cara.
"Frances! No!" Cara shouted as it reached forward trying to bite her. She picked up the pilot's head and threw it in the open mouth of the dinosaur causing it to choke, a shot rang out and the dinosaur fell dead next to Cara.
"Did you just feed the dinosaur a head?" Fatima asked.
Cara chuckled. Which caused Jackson and Hannah to start laughing. And soon the whole group was having a nice laugh, which was interrupted by a banging noise on the cockpit door. Jackson loaded up the gun,
"Let's do this." (Sunglass emoji person)
Megan felt K2 wake up after hearing a gunshot in the distance. K2 looked out the window to see the sun rise over the ocean as she let out a yawn. The girls heard another gun shot, then silence. Then a couple minutes later they heard one final gunshot.
"It's Julia, Samantha, and Cara." K2 made a finger gun and pretended to shoot herself.
"Stop yourself." Megan laughed.
The two girls looked at each other.
"Where is everyone else?" They said at the same time. (Technically K2 started to say she was hungry...)
"I say we go towards the gunshot." Megan said, climbing out of the plane.
"Really? I feel like that's dangerous." K2 countered, also climbing out of the plane.
"Yeah but it's the only lead we've got." Megan started off towards the jungle.
"Wait! Look!" K2 pointed at smoke coming up from behind the bend.
K2 pulled Megan towards the smoke cloud and she (tried to) run down the beach.
As they got closer they saw someone running towards them and within a second they pulled Megan into a hug.
"MEGAN!" Austin squealed.
"And K2!" K2 said.
Austin let go of Megan for a second to pull K2 into a group hug as the rest of the group walked over.
"Wait a minute, where are your shirts? Why does it look like y'all just had an orgy?" Megan laughed, shaking her entire body. K2 rolled her eyes and walked over to the rest of the group, glad she wasn't stuck here alone with Megan.
