I was walking with Tommy, being pushed around by the armed men around us. I held onto Tommy's hand, not letting him out of my hands strong, but gentle grip. I was already annoyed at the guard's orders, constantly barking orders at us as if we were nothing but "mangy mutts". I was glaring as I was walking, until I saw something bright as I walked by; It was the girl, who looked around my age with blonde hair and pale skin, and who took care of Tommy. She looked hurt, based on the bandages that were wrapped around her skinny limbs.

I couldn't help but feel sorry for her and enraged that they would hurt a poor girl. I got a fiery glare in my eyes, my rage very evident. Most people would have said that you could see fire dancing in my blue eyes, giving me the nickname "Dragon's Wrath". I kinda liked it. It sounded cool at the time, but I soon realized what they meant after I saw the fear in everyone's eyes as they saw me beat up a guard. Even Tommy looked afraid of me, which hurt the most.

"Hey Stormy," I asked her, wanting to make sure she heard me. She looked up at me, a serious look on her face,"Yes?" "Can you make sure Tommy is taken care of if anything is going to happen to me? Like, if I get tested on or exterminated," I was looking down at my tray of food, my hair covering my face. I could tell she was giving me a worried look, but she had lightly nodded her head and said, "Of course. Tommy is nice, so I don't mind taking care of him," she replied, concern filling every inch of her voice. "But why ask me?"

This made me feel better about talking to Stormy. I knew she had doubts, but we all did. I eventually looked up at her, smiling at her, "Because I only trust you. Well, besides my little brother." I saw her have some tears in her eyes, but she didn't cry. She was scared, like me, but understood what I had asked her so well. It was a great thing to ask of her... Until the fated day came...
