That evening Merida got home and set her things on her bed. At that moment she heard the front door open and closed.

"I'm hooommmeee!!!" Rapunzel's cheery voice boomed from the entrance hall.

"No one caaaareeess!" Merida sang back.

"Yes you do care, because I make the best pie! AND I'm making pie today." Rapunzel appeared in front of Merida's bedroom door.

"..........in that case, welcome home Punzie." Merida replied, giving in to the word 'pie'

"Yeah that was what I thought." Rapunzel smirked.

"What are you doing or what did you do today?" The golden blond leaned on the doorframe as she looked at her friend take out a gift bag from a store bag.

"Oh I'm just fixing a "gift" if you want to call it that." Merida quoted the word gift, she didn't want to Punzie to get the wrong idea like Elsa and Jack.

"For who?" Rapunzel asked curiously.

"Uhh.....Hiccup." Merida quietly added as she squinted her face waiting for her friend's reaction.

"WHA-mfmsndn." Rapunzel was cut off by Merida covering her mouth with her hand before she assumed or said anything.

"NO! It's not what you think. I'll tell everything if you promise not to say a word or interrupt me! Okay." Merida carefully and slowly remarked, making sure her clumsy friend heard. In which she received a nod in return.

Merida stepped away from the shocked girl and rubbed her right arm nervously.

"Remember I told you he helped me on that day it was raining...well after that I went to his house and he let me barrow clothes. And well...today I decided to return them but before I did that, I wanted it to be clean. So when I put everything in the washer I didn't notice a pink marker....and well that made a mess. So I had a pink green shirt and basketball shorts. So I went to buy him a new pair and I kinda saw this gift bag on my way here and I liked it..."
Merida waited for her response.

"........." Punzie just looked at her.

".........." Merida became uncomfortable with the silence that passed.

Rapunzel soon bursted in laughter. Merida made an unamused face and rolled her eyes.

"Sorry...I just find it funny...but I understand." Rapunzel said between laughs.

"Well...I should prepare dinner." Rapunzel took her leave still laughing a little. Merida followed behind.

"I actually ate but I can eat again, there's always room for food." Merida patted her stomach as if she had a child inside.

"Mm okay, I'll probably make something decent since it's just us three." Punzie tied her hair into a ponytail.

"While you do that I'm heading to the guys to see Hiccup, he should be home by now.....so I can give him his things." Merida strolled to her bedroom to get the bag.

"Oooo I want to see what you got him. I want to see your taste for men in clothes. No. I should say if you had a boyfriend what would your taste be..." punzie started to ramble on while she followed her friend to her room. Merida turned red at her statement.

"It's just a stupid gift okay nothing to say. Or I won't show you anything!" Merida back fired, trying to hide her blushing face, as she quicken her pace to her room.

Merida went and got the gift bag and gave it to Punzie.

Rapunzel couldn't help but look at the redhead unamused when she saw the gift bag.
"Really. Where the heck did you get this bag!? Punzie raised an eyebrow.
