Until I met you

The fair ( part 2)

It was already evening and everyone was walking to a spot where they could view the fireworks. As they finally found a perfect spot they all sat down in pairs as they planned yesterday, their goal was to make Merida and Hiccup feel left out and start wanting company. Since they all had their romantic partner for the show, Merida and Hiccup decided to sit in different ends of the group. Jack frowned at this, this was not what they planned, those two were suppose to sit together not apart.

"Jack!? Where are you going!?" Elsa whispered to her boyfriend who was standing up from the grass.

"Hold up." Jack then walked to Merida and kneeled down beside her. Merida turned to look at him confused.

"Hey, why don't you go and sit next to Hic?" Jack pointed towards Hiccup, who seemed to be enjoying the beautiful evening and the scenery.
Merida snorted at Jack's remark.
"You're kidding right!?"

Jack rolled his eyes at her and Merida pouted. He then grabbed her by the arm and picked her up and dragged her to where Hiccup was, everyone watch this and chuckled.

"What are you doing doofus! And don't think I don't know what you told the girls!" Merida tried to get off his grip but couldn't.

"Yeah sure..."Jack wasn't paying attention to her, he was busy trying to get her to where his best friend was.

Jack soon took one last dragged that sent Merida flying forward and fall to the grass in a sitting position, landing next to Hiccup. Hiccup turned his head around at the sudden motion getting his attention, he then looked up at Jack and raised an eyebrow, in which Jack just winked and Hiccup rolled his eyes in response.

"HEY!" Merida was about to get up and show Jack some piece of her mind but two hands put her down to the ground again. She looked up to see who it was, she was meet with a platinum blond smiling down at her.

"You two stay there, no sitting apart, got it!" Elsa exclaimed as she and jack left to their spot again. Merida crossed her arms and looked forward at the scenery, clearly giving up. Hiccup on the other hand didn't care and resume enjoying the evening. Moments passed and neither said a word. Merida looked around and saw everyone sitting in pairs looking happy with each other, Punzie was putting flowers in Eugene's hair, in which he didn't look pleased. Anna and Kristoff were laughing together having a good time. Elsa and Jack were laying down looking at the sky. Merida saw the sight and romance was written all over. She then looked back at the sun setting down and couldn't help but turned to look at Hiccup who was watching the scenery before them, she then began thinking if they too would of done something similar, IF they were friends or were a couple but at least if they were friends.........,friends that ended up falling for each other.... Merida then caught herself thinking of nonsense, what are thinking Merida! That's the stupidest thought you ever had! We aren't even friends to start with....I don't wish for stupid romance, I wish be a good acquaintance with him or maybe friends, that's all...yeah, no more no less! Merida nodded to herself smiling, she put those thoughts to her brain and not let it get to her heart. She didn't think of being friends with him no more since he makes it impossible but she will at least try to be in good terms with him but if they did ended up being friends, that would be good too. She again began nodding to her self in a more serious face.

Hiccup just watched this girl nod to herself with a determined smile. She's crazy. Was the only thought he could think of.

It soon turned to nighttime and the stars could be visible.

"I guess it should start soon.."Merida quietly remark as she looked up at the stars. Hiccup ignored her, he just wanted go home and lay in his bed and read a good book.

Suddenly they all heard a bang and they quickly looked up at the sky that was being lit with different beautiful colors.

"Look! Fireworks!!!" Merida grabbed Hiccup's arm and shook it excitedly, Hiccup forcefully took his arm away from her grip.

Merida soon realized what she did and apologized "sorry..." she then went back to watching the fireworks.

Hiccup looked at her and felt annoyed but shrugged it off and he also went back to watching the light show....it was beautiful, like that one time he was with her, they where in a park when the sky was covered in fireworks and that's were he first had his kiss with her. It felt great like nothing would break them apart.......Astrid....her name still sounded fresh and sweet to him, like she was still here with him.....BANG...the sound of the fireworks made him break from his thoughts, he shook his head slightly, taking away his thinking...he went back to focus on the night show.....idiot.

Everyone was heading back to the cars in a more lovey dovey mode, making Merida uncomfortable. They all resumed to their usual spots in the cars. And drove back to the university.

They arrived, and now they were at the lobby saying their goodbyes. They all took their separate ways to their respective dorms.

Hiccup was exhausted and he immediately got changed and flop into his bed, sleep quickly kicking in. His last thought was that faithful day with her...

Merida, Anna and Punzie were still up in the living room, moments earlier Elsa left to take a quick shower.

"Well I think it's time for me to hit the oven." Punzie said as she stretched and started to leave.

"Night!" Merida and Anna recalled after.
"Goodnight!" Punzie answered as she found Elsa walking towards the living room, "Goodnight Elsa."

"Goodnight Pun." Elsa smiled at her and continued walking heading towards the kitchen.

"Well Merida what was it like to sit next to you know who!?" Anna looked at her expecting something good. Merida didn't know what to say.

"Anna it's not like they are dating, leave her." Elsa was grabbing a glass of milk like she does every night.

"Come on Els! We all got to know if in there deep down there's something!!" Anna pointed towards Merida's heart.

"Please no...I can reassure you that there is nothing inside this heart!" Merida snorted at the idea.

Anna just pouted and got up to leave.
"You just wait my friend it will eventually come." And with that she took her leave.
Merida rolled her eyes at her friend's comment.

"Ignore her Merida, Anna always been the.."love expert" at least that's what she calls it." Elsa chuckled as she put her glass cup in the dishwasher and strolled over towards the living room. Her sister has always rushed things when it comes to love, like that one time with that guy named Hans. That was totally a mistake her sister had ever made. But that was over now.

"Well I'm heading to bed, tomorrow's a busy day for me, Goodnight." Elsa yawned and left to her bedroom.

"Night.." Merida couldn't help but admit Elsa was the most mature and responsible from all of them. The fact she has a boyfriend that is quite opposite of that.

She found that..... interesting.

All of them were opposite from their each other but somehow they managed to enjoy each other's company and understand each other perfectly. Could she find something like that too, someone to finally.............understand her?

What am I thinking!!!! Merida shook her head viciously. She then realized she was still in the living room, alone.

She then stood up and turned off the lights heading to her bedroom also, preparing for a nights sleep, cause tomorrow is a different new day to begin.
