Imperfections- JLS Aston fanfic

Part 21

 *Cassie’s point of view*

‘Cassie!’ Aston said leaping out the chair and opening the doors as the nurses and doctor wheeled me back into the room in my hospital bed ‘I so glad your ok’

‘She’s come round from the operation very well but she needs to take it easy’ the doctor smiled ‘I’ll be back later to check up on you’ he said walking out of the room

‘So…how are you feeling….?’ He asked me noticing I was a little on the quiet side

‘Happy to be alive I guess’ I smiled weakly

‘Cassie ive been so worried….but I knew you’d pull through….your a fighter’

‘Thanks Ast’ I sighed

‘I’ve bought you some things since the doctor said you’ll be in hospital until your body is back to a safe weight again’ he smiled picking up a huge bag

‘Ast….you didn’t have to’ I smiled attempting to sit up a bit in my bed

‘You need some help?’

‘Yeah’ I sighed as Aston helped me to slide higher up the bed into a sitting position

‘Thanks’

‘So remember when you showed me those shoes you wanted…’

‘Ast they were a ridiculous price’

‘Well I bought them for you, along with that fendi bag you wanted, a laptop, chocolates…oh and here’ he said passing me a huge bouquet of red roses

‘Ast this is beyond generous’

‘Anything for my girl’ he smiled, to be honest it made me more than happy inside to be reffered to as his girl

‘Ast, you know how much I love you’ I smiled reaching my hand out so he could hold it in his, kissing it gently

‘Theres something else I got aswell’ he smiled cheekily

‘Ast….’ I laughed

‘Its something we both need but you more than anyone else’ he said passing me a load of holiday brouchures

‘I don’t get it?’

‘Were going on holiday babe, as soon as you get better’ he smiled ‘and you can choose where’

‘Ast your so sweet’

‘I know’ he blushed

We sat and chatted for a bit, playing with my new presents and talking about our future before the anaesthetic in my blood stream started to make me incredibly sleepy.

‘Ast do you mind if I have a sleep?’ I yawned clasping my head in pain from the operation

‘Are you in pain?’

‘Just a little’ I stuttered

‘Can I get you anything?’

‘Your more than enough’ I smiled towards him shuffling up in my bed so there was room for him ‘I know you haven’t slept much in the last 24 hours too’

‘I haven’t slept at all’ he smiled getting up off his seat and gently sliding in next to me, letting my rest my head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around me loosly..

‘Ast?’ I stuttered

‘Yeah…’

‘As this relationship is all new…promise me one thing?’

‘Anything’ he smiled kissing my forehead

‘You’ll always be there for me?’

‘Always’ he smiled placing a delicate kiss on my lips before we both nodded off into a peaceful sleep. It was only 6pm but we were both shattered and despite being in bandages and stuck in a hospital bed, with Aston by my side, everything felt so right…
