Chapter 11 - Badminton Tournement

'Good try girls,' Miss Barter says. Me and Emma were at a badminton tournament with two other girls in our class. St. Daniels were holding it and they had obviously come 1st and 2nd as they had two teams as the rest of the schools 1. Dartmouth had come 3rd Lionen, us were 4th and Elderhail were 5th.
The St. Daniels hall was bright blue the same colour as Lionens pe uniforms. St Daniels took over the White hall floor and shown out brightly against it in their bright yellow tops. Boastful I thought. The boys were also playing they came 3rd. Benji and Jay McLean were playing for the boys with two others. Max didn't like badminton so he didn't come. But I saw Emma take this an a advantage.
Emma was lying down on the floor laughing so hard she was crying while Jay her ex boyfriend by the way was hitting her on the head with a badminton racket and saying, 'Bad Girl you lost.' Typical I thought she loves more than one boy when she is meant to be going out with my boy.
When I made it back to my beloved school of Lionen, Amy was waiting for me in the canteen her hair long and brown as it normally is. Beside her was Lucy her hair in a short ponytail and Lavender who has now said she hates the name Lavender and wants to be called Tessa, we are totally fine with that. The only thing that puzzled me was they all had great broad grins on their faces, they weren't that happy that I was back after only 3 hours?
'What have you three been up to?' I asked them eyeing them suspiciously, they looked at each other and all looked really troublesome. I raised an eyebrow and Amy stood forward and said, 'I heard from Mia who was told by Cameron who was told by Benji that Jay..' Lucy butted in to say, 'Jay McLean wants Emma Smith back!' Lucy made apologetic faces at Amy who was looking angry with not being able to tell me the news.
I grinned at them, I didn't know who any of them people were apart from Jay McLean and Emma Smith. 'This is perfect,' they all grinned and I suddenly felt like a person out of a James Bond film or something stupid like that.
