I have always hated DT, It's where Emma likes to talk about Max. Benji and Jay stand by us to listen. Me and Jay both been rejected by our dates. We have the same problem, trying to get over our exs.
I'm sitting next to Emma, on my other side is a spare computer and on the next computer is Jay and Benji. Jay goes over to the spare computer and writes "Jay is awesome." I laugh and then I change it to "Darcy is awesome." He changed it to "Jay" and was about to put something else but I knocked his hand out the way and typed "Smells".
He laughed at me. Emma looked at what we were doing and went to type something but I pressed enter before she could and the screen went onto "This username is incorrect," Me and Jay both burst into laughter and Benji and Emma both look at us as if they were concerned parents.
We went on working until I stared humming if your happy and you know it. I really have no idea why that was in my head. But Jay stared clapping so then I started singing it. Benji stared clapping as well and then Emma joined in and I joined in. Our teacher stared at us and we all burst out laughing.
That night I had a text of Jay, he said, 'I need to tell you something,' I stared and then he said, 'I like you,' at that I fell of my chair. I grabbed my phone, but then I thought, what about Max? Wait wait hold on. Then I remembered Jay was the one that made me laugh when I was down, Jay was the one who looked sad when me and Max hugged, Jay was the one who was typing on the computer with me. Jay was the one, Jay was the one, Jay is the one.
I have been a total idiot. I been so caught up in loving a guy who doesn't know I exist, that I haven't realised someone was always loving me the whole time. I've been so stupid!
I replied to him biting my lip, 'I like you too,' by the end of the night I was going out with Jay McLean. Then I thought about Max, I knew that I was over him. Jay had helped me get over that dooshbag. Jay is the one who helped me.
