Chapter 7 - Monsters

Pov. Kendra

I turn around and expect to feel a hard ground, but instead I feel that I'm laying on a soft bed. Where the hell am I?

I sit up and look down the room. The room is navy blue, which makes it look like my own room. This one is a lot bigger though. When I turn around and look at the other walls I see there are no windows. Damn it, that way to escape doesn't work anymore. The person that put me here knows me too well. I really, really hate it if people know what I'm going to do, so let's do something no one expects.

I'm going to sleep bitches!

What? You can't complain. You would do the same if you would wake up in a bed this soft. It is like your in the heaven of beds. Just joking.

Pov. Lucas

When I look at the camera I see that Kendra finally has awoken and that she's looking around the room. As I thought she scans the walls to see if there are windows and her face is just as well annoyed as surprised. Probably because she now knows I know her too well.

I thought she would go scream or try to find another way out, but she just lays down and sleeps further. If I knew that she would do that I didn't have to give her a room without windows.

Sigh.

She becomes sixteen in 2 days and I want to give her a beautiful birthday, but if she keeps running away it will be impossible. Crappy stuff this! Crappy stuff.

"Sir, you have a message from your parents." Sounds through the speaker. I told the man a thousand times to call me Lucas, not sir. Well I guess he won't stop with calling me that.
I pick up my phone and see that my parents indeed are calling me. Probably again asking if she is allright and saying they are worried. I tap the green button and start to talk.

"Hello mum, dad. Is there something I need to know?" What a surprising first words Lucas, really...

"YOU NEED TO BRING HER HERE RIGHT NOW!" my father, the Alpha screams.

"Wow. Wait, what? Why?" I say shocked.

"THERE IS.."

"DAD I HEAR YOU! You don't have to scream. Jeez."

"I'm sorry son. But you have to bring her, because a boy is standing here saying that he will kill the pack or he takes her with him."

"Dad, you know I can't do this I'm her ..." he hung up. He seriously hung up! What do I have to do now? I can't lose her, but I also can't let the pack get killed. What can I actually do now?!

I walk to the room Kendra is in and open the door. She is really cute when she sleeps. I don't want to wake her up yet, so I decide to lay down next to her. As soon as I have my arms around her I fall asleep.

After a while I vaguely hear a voice, but it's calming, so I continue sleeping.

"Lucas. Can I go to the toilet? I need to pie. Lucas, wake up. LUCAS!"

As soon as my name's said I'm wide awake.
"Yes? What? Are you allright? Did I do something to you? Did you have a nightma-"

"I need to freakin' pie and if you don't let me go now I will pie in my pyjama!" Kendra looks angry at me.
I smiled and let her go.

"Thanks asshole."
I like it when she reacts like that, then I know that she is allright. She really hates being vulnerable. You can see that in a lot of things, she doesn't show her feelings right away or says she's afraid, no she does nothing in that corner.
