Chase's POV

"What do you mean your girlfriend? You two broke up last night didn't you?" Leo asked. I shook my head, might as well tell him. It's not like he wouldn't have found out anyway and Bree and I need all the help we can get.

"No. When Adam sent that first text, that was when Bree faked being sick. We decided to get him back for trying to break us up. Bree's just faking with Adam right now. Did you seriously think she liked Adam when she had just made that big of a deal to be with me?" I explained. I let my mind fall back to my girlfriend and my two faced friend. I shook the thought away.

"Wow, I didn't see that one coming. So while Adam was trying to get you back, you guys were getting him back for getting you back. Well, if I'm confused Adam's going to need an informational video when we're done with him." Leo thought aloud. I nodded along with him. This was getting complicated. Who am I kidding? It's always been complicated.

"So, what do we do now? We can't exactly let Adam off the hook. He's kind of ruining the group." I asked abruptly. It was a valid question. I had absolutely no idea where to go from here.

"Hey you can't blame the whole 'group in turmoil thing' on him. It's partly you and Bree's falt. You two started all this with the whole breaking-"

"Breaking the buddies rule thing. I know." I finished for him.

"Personally, I think we need a plan. Like a really good plan." Leo started. He left off there though. This kid can't finish a sentence.

"And? What kind of plan, Leo?" I questioned. Leo laughed.

"Sorry, I had to do that. Anyway, I think we need a plan to show Adam not to mess with you and Bree. You two are obviously all lovey dovey right now and have no other point to life. So, we might as well use that to our advantage. Now the only question is, what should we do?" Leo asked. Then, the idea hit me.

"I have the perfect idea." I said with a smirk. Adam won't know what hit him.

Bree's POV

"Yes Adam, for the fifth time, I would love to get a milkshake." I said. He's not exactly the brightest lightbulb in the box.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't catch that. I think it's time you called me by my codename... Space cadet." Adam said with a smile. I laughed.

"I've got news for you buddy. We've been calling you by your codename for years." I said as he walked away to get the shake. Poor kid looked like he had won the lottery. I sighed, I would much rather be here with Chase. Now I'm back in the situation I was a few days ago, pretending to date Adam. The only difference is I am dating Chase this time. I looked down at my phone to see 1 missed call. I quickly put the phone up to my ear and listened to the message.

"Bree. I talked with Leo and we have an amazing plan. Turns out Adam is using you to get back at me about the whole Caitlyn thing. Call me back, you can definitely leave early. Love you."

I sighed in relief. This horrid day was over. Believe it or not, I'm not sure if Adam and I had ever been actually good friends. He's just kind of there for comedic relief if anything. I know him and Leo are close but I'm actually closer with Leo than I have ever been with Adam. I walked over to where Adam was about to pay.

"Adam wait! I have to go, you don't have to order the shake." I explained quickly. The sales person stared daggers at me. Adam shrugged and payed him anyway.

"Well who said I couldn't eat an extra large shake by myself?" Adam said in a duh tone. I rolled my eyes. I don't know how Caitlyn ended up with him.

"I did and you can prove me wrong later. I have to go. Thanks for an... Interesting day." I replied as I started to make my way to the exit. I had to call Chase.

"Bree, wait!" Adam called. I spun on my heel to face him once more.

"Do you want to do this again? Like... Start dating?" Adam asked. He even sounded unsure to me. I sighed then replied.

"Look Adam. I had a lot of fun today. But I think we need to discuss where ever our relationship is going later. I really have to go." I tried to sound convincing. I had no idea where this friendship was going to go after this. He used me, to get back at Chase for something he didn't even do. I didn't like being used for revenge, and Adam was about to get his karma in whatever plan Leo and Chase had come up with.

"Oh, that's cool. I'll see you later." Adam replied bluntly. I nodded and left the crowded mall. As I stepped outside, I took my phone out and called Chase. He picked up almost instantly.

"Hey, I see you." Chase said in a teasing tone.

"What do you-" I started but was stopped when the honk of a car horn blared through the parking lot. I turned to tell off whoever had decided to test me. But when I came to face the car and boyfriend I knew too well, I decided to yell at him in the car.

"What do you think your doing?" I asked as I took the passengers seat. Chase laughed while he pulled out of the mall.

"I'm picking up my girlfriend. Why, what does it look like I'm doing?" Chase asked in a serious tone. Sucks for him though, I knew he was kidding.

"Well it sure as hell looks like your trying to scare the life out of me. Seriously? First you make me spend the whole day with Adam and then you honk the horn right behind me." I looked over to see a smirk on his face.

"Well if it makes you feel better, Leo and I came up with a plan. You won't be spending anymore days with Adam." Chase said slyly. I sat in thought for a second. What could they have come up with? This plan also included Leo in the thinking process, which was never good.

"What kind of plan?" I asked. He turned away from the road for a second to smile at me.

"The best plan in the world." Chase replied confidently.
