"Hey you two." Dad said as Chase pulled out my chair for me. I smiled up at him before taking my seat. Chase quickly sat next to me and picked up a menu. He always finds something else to do when he's nervous, I knew he was a little worried about this.

"Hey. What have you two been up to?" I asked as I glanced down at my menu. Davenport laughed before my dad turned to answer me.

"Well we've obviously been inventing things hence Donald and Douglas industries. But we have also been spending some time trying to figure out what has been going on here." My dad said discretely. I looked up warily to see an evil smile playing on both our fathers faces. I turned to see Chase frowning in confusion at them.

"What do you mean?" Chase asked quizzically. I smiled. He always wanted to get to the bottom of things.

"We mean, how did you two get together? And... Why couldn't you two be together with the whole Adam thing?" Davenport explained as he took a sip of his drink. I turned to see Chase ready to explain. The only thing that scared me, was the fact that Chase was going to tell the story exactly how it was. Exactly. My after wouldn't exactly appreciate the story of how Chase and I got together.

"Bree and I have liked each other for quite some time now. So one day, Adam came up with the idea of he and Bree fake dating to get me jealous. When I found out, of course I was mad. But I was always suspicious. So we played truth or dare the next night, the rest of that game is history. We got together that night and Adam seemed fine with it." Chase finished looking to me for the rest.

"The next day we went to breakfast with Adam and Leo, but Adam sent me a text. He said he wanted me back, for real this time. I told Chase and we agreed he was messing with me, but we didn't know why. We came up with the idea that we should mess with him back. The more we went along with the plan, we found out that he was in a relationship with another girl. So, a couple nights later, we put a new plan into action and he admitted he used me to get back at Chase." I could see the confused looks on our dads faces. They never really paid that much attention to long stories but lets face it, if its not their bank account or a mirror, they're not really paying attention*.

"What was he getting back at you for?" Davenport asked Chase. Chase sighed.

"Apparently, he and Bree had been friends in preschool before I came into the class. That's when Bree and I became best friends. Adam had to switch schools after that because he couldn't make friends. He and Leo met and now, we're all friends. But Adam was still mad about what had happened. This was his plan the whole time." Chase said. My dad and Donald exchanged glances before turning to me.

"We talked to him later that night. He admitted that he and Chase were actually friends. He said that he was sorry and if he had to, he'd spend the rest of our friendships proving that to us. So, now we're all friends again." I turned to see Chase smiling.

"Wow, I didn't see any of that coming." My dad exclaimed. I rolled my eyes at him. He always had to make everything more dramatic.

"I know. You guys have been friends for like 3 years. Oh well, you guys are good again though." Davenport finished. My dad looked over to Chase.

"What exactly did you mean when you said the rest is history?" Chase leaned back in his chair as my dad leaned forward. Interrogation, here we come.
