I cried because I was dying

Not for real, but my heart

I started having dreams of flying

It would all change with that start

You're the main suspect here

You took the knife and stabbed me

I turned cold, and didn't shed a tear

I didn't remember how to be...me.

You see, it all started with a spark

An irrefutable flame

But it burnt out and I was left in the dark

And you're to blame

I still look for you in a crowded room

Hoping to catch the undeniable gaze of your eyes

You put the nail in the coffin and me in the tomb

And filled my body with your cons and your lies

There's no way I can ever be me again

I've never known how

I can always fake a smile and pretend

Because our time is now.

Our time is now

And there's no way

There's no way I'll let you win
