"Nice apartment." He said as he timidly entered. I pointed at the counters, letting him know that he can put the beers there.

"Thanks, man. It really is nice for one person." I faked laughed. He offered to order and pay the pizza, so I let him. Quite the gentleman. After a few minutes, he came back and said,

"The pizza will be here in 30 minutes." He looked past me, where the television was at. Joji smiled and looked back at me. "You play video games, I see." He pointed out.

"Yes, I do."

"Are you a gamer girl?" He said mockingly and laughed. I laughed with him, realizing how sarcastic he can be.

"Oh, totally. Like, I'm the only girl that plays video games l o l." He laughed more at my reenactment of most these "Gamer girls." "I despise those type of girls. Please, everyone plays video games. I mean," I stopped and thought about what I was about to say for a few seconds. Offensive humor is so taboo that I wouldn't like to make a bad impression. However, i say it anyways, "except homeless people that play with cardboards." At this point he couldn't stop laughing. I see he likes black humor.

"Holy shit good one, Sarah! I really thought of holding back a lot of my offensive jokes but now I see that you're just like me. I like that a lot." Wow, he likes that? Well I mean, not a lot of girls can take a joke. So I guess he's happy that he found a girl that actually enjoys them. A girl like me.

"I like that in guys, too. Anyways, wanna play while we wait for the food to get here?" He smiled and nodded. I walked him to the sofa, turned on the TV and console, and sat next to him. He sat closer to me. So close that I could feel his warmth. Our skins almost touching.

After eating almost a whole pizza pie together and playing games, we laid on the couch and watched some movies on Netflix. It was 8:30pm already, but he seemed to not feel like leaving any time soon. I felt like smoking, so I got up and looked for my pack. Once I had it, I went back and asked him,

"Want one?" He seemed a little shocked. Maybe didn't expect me to smoke at all.

"Sure. Didn't think you smoke." No one really expects it. I was used to it anyways.

"Yeah. Started back in high school." He took one from the pack and took a lighter out of his pocket. He lit both of our cigarettes and took a long drag. I sat next to him while he exhaled a thick line of smoke. I did the same.

We ended up talking about conspiracies, legends, and even shared some jokes. We had many laugh fits as we finished our cigarettes. By the time he finished, he realized that he should get going.

"Thank you for today, Sarah. This really means a lot to me." He said while looking at me with sparkly eyes, still very close to me.

"You're welcome. I'm glad you had fun." Before he got up, he kissed me on the cheek softly. I felt my face go completely red and hot. He giggled at the sight of me. "I wasn't expecting that!" I say bashfully.

"That was the whole point." He said while getting up from the couch. He helped me up and I walked him to the door. He gave my a warm hug and I swear I didn't want it to end. "Thank you again. I'll call you later?"

"Well yeah. If I give you my number." He laughed softly and gave me his phone. I typed in my number and gave it back. "See you soon, George."

"Goodnight, Sarah Gates." And with that he left. I closed the door and just stood behind it, thinking about today. He doesn't know how glad I was of seeing him again. I missed him for some reason. He's such a great friend. He's so... perfect. Am I..?

Am I developing a crush on him?
