MeyRin's Pov

My vision was returning ever so slightly, just enough that I could see that Ferid was by my side. I felt him pull me onto his lap, and he pulled a vial of blood from his robe pocket. He tilted my head back and poured the liquid into my mouth.  He put the empty vial in his pocket and started running his fingers through my hair.
"You're gonna be okay." He whispered in my ear.
"Why did you save me?" I asked. My voice was still weak.
"Because I love you." He said, pressing a kiss to the side of my head. He layed down in the loft, me laying on top of him since I had been in his lap.
"I turned you because I didn't want you to leave me. I told you I was selfish, didn't I." He laughed.
"I love you too." I mumbled into his chest.
"Sleep now, my little lamb." He kissed the top of my head and I quickly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up in a very soft bed, with dark red bedding, and a dark wood bed frame. The room was dimly lit, with a large dresser that matched the bed frame, and a door on either side of the room. Was this Lord Ferid's room? The pillow smelled like him, so I decided that my guess was correct.
As if to assure my suspicions further, Ferid walked through the door to the left of the bed, which I could now see led to the hallway.
"You're awake." He smiled. He sat next to me on the large bed, and I sat up. He pulled me into his lap once again, one of his hands resting on my leg and the other brushed my hair behind my shoulder. He placed a gentle kiss on my neck, his breath tickling my skin as he pulled away.
"I missed you, little lamb." He smiled.
"I missed you too." He removed he hand from my leg and reached into his pocket, and pulled out the key shaped necklace.
"May I?" He asked, undoing the clasp, which he had somehow fixed.
I pulled my hair into a pony tail, and he fastened the necklace around my neck.
"I'm sorry." He said. "I let my need get ahead of what you wanted, or more so didn't want-"
I cut him off by pressing my lips to his.
"Thank you. You saved me twice, even though I begged you not to, in both our best interests. I'm not sure I could do that. Thank you." I said. "If you had begged me to let you die like I had, I don't know if I would've been able to defy you."
"Well, I want you next to me, for a very long time. So I couldn't let you go just yet." He put his lips to mine again.
"I would assume that you're hungry." He chimed.
"You are correct." I laughed.
"Cmon." He pecked my lips once more before picking me up in his arms and carrying me to a different room in the mansion.  I recognized it as the room that Ferid used to drink my blood in.
"Feeling nostalgic?" I asked him, teasingly.
"Mhmmm." He rolled his eyes. He walked over to me. He put his arms around my waist and buried his face in neck, leaving little kissing up to my jaw.
"Mhmm... weren't we gonna get me something to eat?" I said, trying to suppress a moan.
"Alright, cmon." He laughed.
His one arm stayed around my waist as we walked through the city, stopping at one of the balconies to admire the view.
"Umm, excuse me?" I small voice said from behind the two of you. You turned around to see a little girl, who didn't look much older than 10 standing behind you.
"Hello, Sayu." Ferid said.
"Hi Lord Ferid. You wanted to see me?" She said.
"Yes, this is MeyRin. She's very special to me, would you be willing to give her some of your blood?"
"Okay." She said. I looked at Ferid.
"I can't do this." I whispered to him.
"Yes you can. She doesn't mind." Ferid said. I looked at Sayu, who smiled kindly at me. I shot Ferid a glance before kneeling down in front on the little girl, and brushing her hair away from her neck.
"I'll be gentle, don't worry." I whispered to her before carefully biting into her neck. She flinched a little, so I gently wrapped my arms around her, holding her close to me. I drank s little more before pulling away from her.
"Are you okay?" I asked her.
"Yup." She smiled. I stood up and walked back to the balcony.
"Thank you, Sayu." Ferid said to the girl. "Anything in particular you would like for a reward?"

I tuned out the rest of the conversation, I was lost in the view from the balcony. I still couldn't believe I had just drank blood from a human. I didn't think I could do it, but I did. I felt arms wrap around my waist and Ferid rested his chin on my shoulder. "Mhmm. What are we thinking about?" He hummed in my ear.
"Nothing. Thank you." I replied.
"You're welcome." He kissed me behind my ear, and I shivered. He laughed, and picked me up off the ground.
"Ah- hey!" I gasped. He laughed again and carried my back to his mansion, and into his bedroom. He layed me down on he bed and crawled on top of me.
"Can I help you?" I teased. He smirked and pressed his lips to mine.

For once I don't have anything to say. Feedback is appreciated 🙂 -🎀🕷Newt🕷🎀
